The Turtlegram and Gazette’s Clive McFarlane’s 5 year obsessions with me and the blog continued today with this failed hit piece and outright libelous headline:
Crap like the local blog your son runs; the blog that fat-shames people and calls these children and their parents’ “savages;” the blog whose Facebook page has been shut down more than once by the company for promoting pornography?
There’s so much wrong with this I don’t even know where to start. But obviously the part that stands out is “the blog whose Facebook page has been shut down more than once by the company for promoting pornography?”
Because Clive knows, and you all know, that the Facebook page has been shut down repeatedly because SJWs mass report it for fraudulent things. This is what Clive wants readers to believe is pornographic:
The best part was the complaint about fat shaming. Clive works at a newspaper that employed Diane Williamson, who literally fat shamed a tow truck driver on her public Facebook page 2 years ago.
Clive realized long ago that he doesn’t have the power that he used to because he works in a dying industry. He wrote a hit piece about me in 2015, filled with lies, that he assumed would be the death blow to Turtleboy. Instead our readership has grown to 10 times the size it was back then. He knows he can’t stop Turtleboy, so he did the next best thing – went after my ma dukes.
For those of you unfamiliar, she used to be an elected official in Worcester (School Committee), but has since kept a pretty low profile. That all changed recently because she’s spoken out against Dante Comparetto’s bizarre, perverted sex ed curriculum, that among other things teaches children how to cup each other’s balls during foreplay. I’m not using hyperbole either. It literally says that.
Now I don’t like to get too into my personal life here, but my mother has kind of entered the public arena by speaking at School Committee meetings about this. She’s one of dozes though, but of course Bill Shaner and Clive have picked out her to go after, as a way of getting back at me. Billy wrote a column last week “exposing” some emails she sent to the superintendent and other elected officials about her concerns. Billy bemoans the fact that it was effective in keeping Dante’s perverted curriculum out of the schools, and complains that she’s some sort of influential political guru.
In other words, Billy’s big scoop was a private citizen effectively petitioning the government about a matter of public concern via the power of email.
Of course the reality of it is that Billy is mad that she’s better at this than his friends. Social justice warriors don’t get anything done because their methods are ineffective. They write meaningless buzzwords on cardboard signs, protest everything, and call everyone they don’t agree with a racist. This ultimately does nothing to further their cause. Meanwhile my mother’s writing emails to the right people, explaining her case in a diplomatic way, and getting the job done. They’re jealous that they’re not as good at this. The butthurt is real.
Now, in those emails that Billy misrepresented her by picking and choosing random sentences out of context, he tried to make her look like a religious zealot who wants abstinence only education. Except she doesn’t want that, she just doesn’t want 11 year olds to learn how to play hide the condom in your partner’s oriface.
She writes very differently than I do, but her main point is that we can teach kids about safe sex all we want, but until we address the primary issues affecting them (lack of structure at home, lack of basic morals being taught, lack of father figures, etc), then very little is going to change.
Clive saw Billy’s article and wrote my mother this email last week, quoting her and asking for comment:
“Would you include Aidan’s blog as part of the crap from which these students need protection.”
No Clive, the kids in the WPS don’t need protection from Turtleboy Sports. Unless of course they grow up and do something terrible, in which case they might end up Turtleboy famous like you.
Clive was suggesting that she failed as a parent because her 37 year old son publishes and operates a widely read, influential blog with millions of monthly readers, including 99% of the people who work at the Turtlegram with Clive. A blog that has made a positive difference for society in too many ways to count. I made that clear to him in the comments underneath the post on the Turtlegram:
Clive is a lowlife who knows no bottom, and my mother ignored him because of that. Nevertheless he published his hit piece today, and it might be the most absurd thing he’s ever written, which is no easy task for him. He takes my mothers quote and breaks it down as follows:
Here’s what he had to say but her suggestion that a lack of strong families is hurting urban youth.
Oh right, it’s Donald Trump’s fault. Of course. Prior to 2017 there were no problems in urban communities. He actually wrote that.
He also says we don’t have strong families because of Trump separating families of illegal immigrants caught walking over the border. Because the ONLY kids in America that are struggling are illegal immigrants. There are no problems in native born American households. None.
What about their lack of moral upbringing? Whose fault is that?
Of course. Trump. Who else? It has nothing to do with the fact that these kids are surrounded by gang members and drug dealers in their neighborhoods, or that their parents are often ratchets featured on Turtleboy blogs. The reason kids have no morals is because they see Trump on TV and emulate his behavior.
Then there’s the touchy but real issue that a lot of these kids don’t have father figures around. Guess whose fault that is?
The racist criminal justice system naturally. Every single person who is in jail is in there because of racism. There are no criminals, and no one who has at all responsible for their own situation. This is Trump’s fault too, even though he springs black people out of jail if Kim Kardashian asks him to.
What about all the kids who are neglected by deadbeat parents, like Slumdog Chillionaire, who smokes blunts on SnapChat while his mother ignores him?
Oh right, it’s not the fault of the mother that her 9 year old is smoking blunts on a phone that she gave him. It’s the socioeconomic system, that pays her welfare courtesy of the taxpayers so that she doesn’t have to work and can continue ignoring her problematic child.
Finally he blames her for corrupting Worcester children because her crotch fruit (yes, I finally got to refer to myself as a crotch fruit) publishes a blog.
Clive, you’ve done nothing to make the world a better place. Meanwhile my religious mother started volunteering at a summer program on Vernon Hill 4-5 years ago. She met a group of kids who she started inviting over for dinner a lot. Whenever I visited they were there. Really nice kids, all of whom went to North, Doherty, or Worcester Tech. These are kids who had never been on the other side of Park Ave, and never had anything handed to them. She gave them rides everywhere, showed them a whole new world that they never knew existed, exposed them to culture, helped them fill out college applications, and much more.
One of their fathers is a single parent Liberian immigrant, and he wanted to move to Webster during his son’s freshman year. Since Worcester Tech is a GREAT school that she urged him to apply to get into, she didn’t want to see him move to Webster and become a statistic. So she offered to let him stay at our house, which he did for three years. Two weeks ago I saw him win a basketball State Championship for Worcester Tech against Abington; the first in school history. He’s going to community college next year and knows what he wants to do with his life. He’s practically part of the family at this point.
This is what my mother and I have contributed while Clive racebaits. I officially challenge him to a debate where we can discuss our differences as gentlemen. Will he accept? Feel free to email him at email@example.com to ask for yourself. I have left him an official voicemail challenge.
