Court And Vet Records From Rian Waters’ 2016 Arrest Show He Killed 10 Month Old Puppy During Domestic Violence Incident He’s Suing Us For Reporting On

We have been blogging about Rian Waters, a lice infested vokestachio from Western Mass who is currently in the middle of a completely frivolous lawsuit lodged against the blog, and also attempted to sue his ex girlfriend, who also happens to be a victim of domestic violence, at his hands, for malicious prosecution.

Rian wisely chose to drop suit against his ex, and it’s a good thing he did, when he did. Because I had put a FOIA request in for the reports related to his 2017 arrest. Needless to say, they’re far from exonerating, and worst of all, the evidence strongly suggests what we already suspected; that he was ultimately responsible for inflicting injuries on Luna, his daughter’s 10 month old Great Pyranese puppy and service animal, in a heinous, cold blooded act of senseless violence that forced her to be euthanized.

What a smug little shitstick he is. Truly.

If you recall, Rian had a “totally reasonable” excuse for what happen to Luna.

He didn’t kick and kill the dog, he came home one day and found a metal cabinet on top of Luna.

Inconveniently for Rian, however, each and every single one of his bullshit claims is clearly refuted by the actual court evidence. I’ll warn you, these documents made my blood boil and in full disclosure, parts brought me to actual tears.

Remember how Rian was attempting to sue Sam for “malicious prosecution”? Well, not only did she not prosecute him, as she is clearly not a District Attorney, she – as many domestic violence victims do – attempted to protect him from the consequences of his own shitty actions when the police showed up. It was the veterinarian who called the police. But of course Rian only goes after those who are vulnerable, so the wrath fell down on his victim instead. What a piece of shit.

Rian lied? You don’t say. It’s not shocking, but there it is, in black and white – there was no metal filing cabinet like he claimed both in his Facebook post, and in the lawsuit against Turtleboy. After his “the 10 month puppy had back problems” lie fell flat immediately upon exiting his cavity and decay filled suck muscle. So he moved on to the next line of bullshit his grimy little brain could produce. That’s not what the evidence suggests, though. This man is truly a monster, and I use the word “man” loosely here. He is an unconscionable, cowardly worm.

And the necropsy report came to the same conclusion – Rian kicked Luna so hard that she had to be euthanized. It was brutal. It was callous, and she suffered.

And she saw no justice for it. I am so saddened and angered by Luna’s fate. Rian doesn’t deserve to be free, walking around completely unaffected by the destruction he left in his wake. He betrayed and hurt his own family, and coldly snuffed out a beloved family pet in just the beginning of her life.

But if there’s any silver lining here, we can do something good in Luna’s memory. I talked to Uncle Turtleboy, and we have agreed to donate 15% of all donations and merchandise proceeds for the next month to Second Chance Animal Services. They are an organization that offers adoption centers and full service vet clinics that include a sliding scale for qualifying fur families, so that anyone can receive proper care for their pets, regardless of their financial situation. Last year they helped 37,000 animals find homes. That is truly amazing. Thirty days from now we will take the proceeds from all the donations we receive and sales we make, and write a check in memory of Luna. Because her life means something, and even though she has never seen justice, her death can mean something, too.

Additionally, we have released 2 new T shirts in honor of Luna. They are available in our store, and for as long as they are available 20% of every purchase will be donated to Second Chance as well.

I would also encourage our readers to call the Hampden County District Attorney’s office at (413) 283-2388 and demand justice for Luna. It is all too often in cases of domestic violence that the victim is intimated or coerced into refusing to testify against her abuser, and so cases often get dropped without prejudice, meaning they can be reopened and prosecuted. Samantha Cardin is willing to testify this time, as she’s no longer scared now that she knows she has all of us supporting her.  Luna didn’t have a voice, or a choice. She deserves justice, Samantha Cardin deserves justice, and the world would be better off for holding the monster who did this to them accountable.
