7 News Investigative Reporter Determines Morbidly Obese Woman’s Health Issues Are Long Term Effects Of COVID

Hank Phillippi Ryan is a 70 year old “investigative” reporter for WHDH.

Growing up the media told us to rely on people like her and dumpy ol’ Cheryl Fiandaca at WBZ to find the REAL story behind the story. But quite frankly they’ve been replaced by organizations like TB Daily News, and it’s been pretty easy because they’re not very good at their job. Check out this masterpiece of muckraking that Hank Phillippi Ryan put out yesterday about the long term effects of COVID, which was designed to make you fear the virus, even if you miraculously survive it.

They say they got COVID, eventually tested negative for the virus, but their symptoms remain. Hank Investigates what’s going on and what’s being done to help struggling patients. Monique spent days in the hospital fighting for her life.

“You don’t know if you’re going to survive,” Monique says.

She had COVID and at times she couldn’t breathe.

“It was a really scary thing,” Monique says.

She ended up with pneumonia. Now almost a year later, walking down the street, going upstairs, even trying to do schoolwork is still a struggle.

“It’s very overwhelming,” Monique says.

Monique says she has trouble concentrating and trying to remember things. She had to drop out of college and cut back at work.

“I still have the muscle pain; I still have the fatigue. I still have some breathing problems. I still have headaches and they are the worst headaches that I’ve ever had in my life,” Monique says.

There are tens of thousands of people in the U.S. who like Monique are still battling to get better weeks, sometimes months after contracting the virus. They’re called COVID long-haulers. For now, Monique is using an asthma inhaler to breathe more easily. And she’s hopeful she’ll start to improve with physical therapy. But she worries there’s still so much doctors don’t know.

“My life hasn’t been the same and I don’t know if it will be the same,” Monique says.

Poor Monique can’t breathe and gets fatigued easily. Let’s find out why.

I can’t figure it out. Real mystery.

Investigative reporter Hank Phillippi Ryan wants you to believe that Monique’s struggles with physical mobility and gravity are the long term effects of the virus. Did she do any sort of investigation to see if this is why Monique can’t walk up a flight of stairs without keeling over in pain like a wounded water buffalo? Nope. We’ll just assume it’s a long term effect of COVID. Now everyone make sure to wear your mask, stay home, and wait until the government tells you it’s safe to be free.

I’m sure Monique is a very nice person, but the reality here is that she can’t walk up a flight of stairs because she’s dangerously obese. I don’t know how she got this way but it isn’t healthy and puts her more at risk of dying from a whole bunch of diseases. The investigative reporter failed to mention the link between obesity and COVID hospitalizations, almost as if the media exists to push a narrative rather than report the news.

This is what happens when we live in a culture that tells us that Lizzo is “stunning and brave” for prancing around with her rolls out. Obesity should never be celebrated, but it is because our society values protecting people’s feelings rather than telling people the truth about their health.

“My life hasn’t been the same and I don’t know if it will be the same,” Monique says.

Monique, your life is the same as before COVID. You couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs prior to getting the virus because you don’t exercise and your diet is likely horrible. No one else will tell you that because they’re afraid to, but I will because I care about you. Your problem isn’t COVID, it’s your lifestyle. And if you don’t take radical steps to change it then the last thing you’ll have to fear is coronavirus.

“Investigative” reporters like Hank Phillippi Ryan made their bones by being anti-establishment. They looked for answers and went after powerful institutions. But now they just carry water for the government and help push fear porn. Kind of like how Dr. Fauci hasn’t once lectured Americans about exercising or eating healthy, but has told you thousands of times to sit in your home and do nothing all day.

This is why the world needs Turtleboy – because someone has to actually tell the truth.
