Abington Selectman Alex Hagerty Pretends To Be Against Kiddie Porn After Getting Called Out By Turtleboy, Gives Insanely Cringe Speech With Unverified Story About Being Raped

Last week we published a story about the Abington Public Schools putting a book called “This Book is Gay” in the center of the shared library between the middle and high school. The book, which can best be described as kiddie porn, contains cartoon images of naked men and women, gives directions on how children can give other children satisfying handjobs, and even gives them directions on how to join dating apps like Grindr, which are known to be havens for men who prey on young boys.

The book is being presented at pro-LGBT so that any opposition to it will be labeled as anti-LGBT. But the fact of the matter is that any decent, normal person wouldn’t think it’s a good idea for schools to be promoting books like this to children. If you think this is OK then you’re a pedophile enabler and a danger to children.

Jeff Kuhner had good things to say about our coverage.

Thank you Jeff.

One of the people who offered support for the book’s existence in the library is Abington Selectman Alex Hagerty, who joined a Social Justice and Inclusion Facebook group and told one of the pro-pedophile moderators that he was against censoring the book in school.

This was consistent with Alex’s support for disgraced Mass GOP Vice President Tom Mountain, after it was discovered that Mountain had left inappropriate sexual comments on a 14 year old girl’s Facebook page. Hagerty helped defend Mountain by spreading the blatant lie that Mountain was hacked, but later sent me a message apologizing for his comments.

Everyone makes mistakes, but with Alex Hagerty it’s a pattern. I invited him onto the Live Show over the weekend to discuss, and perhaps even take back his support for the book. He read my messages he never responded.

This week Abington had a School Committee meeting and several parents stood up to speak out against the book being allowed in the school library. And just like he did after I shamed him for supporting Tom Mountain, Alex once again changed his tune and suddenly was against the kiddie porn in the library. Although Alex has no children he still wanted to make the issue all about him, and gave one of the cringiest, most self-serving speeches in opposition to the book that I have ever heard. He repeatedly fake cried, claimed to have been raped, and made the issue all about him.

This is the most fraudulent politician I have ever seen, and he must never be allowed to move above Abington Selectman. It clearly worked because the parents who didn’t want the book in the schools were led to believe that he’s some sort of principled person who was on their side from the beginning. But the ONLY reason he gave this speech is because we publicly shamed him for supporting kiddie porn. He doesn’t actually believe any of this, and will simply say whatever he needs to say to the current crowd in front of him to like him.

For the record, I agree with his overall message that promoting kiddie porn doesn’t make you pro-LGBT. It makes you a groomer at best, and a pedophile at worst. I just can’t stand fraudulent politicians who don’t fight for what’s right when it counts, which is exactly what Alex Hagerty is. When he had a chance to stand up to this he chose to join the opposition because he didn’t think he would get called out for it. He switched sides when his true colors were revealed, and gave this overly theatrical William Jennings Bryan-esque speech to make concerned parents think he was on their side from the beginning.

The biggest issue I had with the speech is that he made it all about him. He literally cried about being bullied in high school so that people would feel bad for him. This was the worst, which he read while pretending to hold back tears:

“In my younger days I used the app (Grindr) that was promoted in This Book is Gay. One day I met someone and they attempted to rape me. I don’t want to have to relive this. I was thankfully strong enough, able to fight back against my attacker – MY RAPIST – to get away physically unharmed. But the mental and emotional harm is still there. Putting books like this on display is going to put LGBT kids in danger.

First of all, it’s entirely inappropriate to use an unverifiable anecdote like this to promote your position. It’s a leftist tactic used to play on your emotions and make you feel bad so that you’ll vote the way they want you to.

Secondly, screaming “MY RAPIST” at the top of your lungs, while sobbing like a baby, doesn’t make you more believable if this is the way you talk all the time. I have no reason to believe that he’s telling the truth since Alex is a politician who will say and do anything to get the crowd in front of him to like him.

Thirdly, he calls the person “My RAPIST,” despite stating that he was never raped. But he cried, so you should feel bad for him anyway because this issue is really just all about self-promoting Alex Hagerty.

Alex is in actor by nature. Every Christmas he does an act where he pretends to be the Abington grinch and sells it pretty well.

But he’s no more of a principled conservative than he is an actual Grinch. It’s just a role he plays so people will like him.

It should also be noted that after the blog was published last week the Halifax Pride Facebook account denounced Turtleboy as a “tabloid media outlet,” and shared a video of Alex speaking at one of their Pride events. In their post they specifically stated that Alex “supports positive LGBTQ literature in the school library,” in reference to This Book Is Gay.”

The speech was just as theatrical and ridiculous as his speech in Abington.

This is just the way he talks. Everything with him is overly dramatic, so you can’t assume he’s actually passionate about anything.

Alex saw that the Halifax Pride said that he supported This Book Is Gay in the Abington middle school library. If he didn’t want the book in the library he could’ve corrected them, but instead he left a heart emoji.

Because Alex Hagerty just wants to be liked by everyone. He is a politician who stands for absolutely nothing. He is an actor, with a theater background, who can make himself sound passionate about anything. But in reality he doesn’t actually believe in anything.

Using victimhood as currency is a leftist tactic. Constantly your racial or sexual identity as your primary selling point is a leftist tactic. Unfortunately in Massachusetts people like this advance in the Republican party because they believe that pandering to the left will ensure that they are close to the levers of power and never have to get a real job.
