An Amber Alert for a missing three year old girl in North Attleboro named Ava Amitan, who is believed to be with her father Vadim Amitan.
According to the NAPD DCF assumed emergency custody of the girl, and “information received by police suggests the child may be missing and endangered.”
Ava is 3’2″ tall and weighs between 35-40 pounds. She has reddish blonde hair and hazel eyes. Her father is 6’2″ and somehow weighs only 175 pounds, with brown hair and a tattoo of a black arrow on his lieft hand.
He’s believed to be driving a silver silver 2007 Toyota Camry with a Rhode Island inspection sticker and Mass. registration: 8ZB-349. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately, Mass. State Police at (508) 820-2121, or North Attleboro Police at (508) 695-1212.
According to Vadim’s Facebook page he is from Russia, is in the process of opening his own food truck, and has lots of pictures with his daughter on his page.
He also has a YouTube channel with several recent videos of himself driving in excess of 125 mph on various Massachusetts highways.
In this one he’s the passenger in a car driven insanely fast by a woman racing someone else, weaving in and out of traffic, while yelling, “let’s ride boys” and “let’s ride, what you got bro?”
This is not to say that he is the one endangering the child. But the facts we know are that he is believed to be with her, the child is in DCF custody, and there is an Amber Alert out for him. So you do the math. He also has videos of himself with his daughter, which would seem to indicate that he might not handle forced separation from her very well.
