Canton Coverup Part 410: Twitter Account That Has Been Sending Death Threats To Karen Read Allegedly Run By Medford Man With Familial Ties To Boston Police

Since November an anonymous account on Twitter known as “Braiden Carnie” has been dedicated to bashing Karen Read, Turtleboy, and other supporters of The Justice for John O’Keefe movement. There are dozens of other accounts like it, but that account is arguably the most vile, and has been reported to the FBI for making threats to Karen Read if she is acquitted:

The account with Twitter handle @ChiefSharkman is vicious not only to Karen Read, but to anyone who supports her. A woman on Twitter named Olivia Lamb, who is a well spoken supporter of Read with a large following, has been a constant target. Her grandfather died in a 2018 California wildfire and this is what the account posted:

 

The account was permanently suspended from Twitter on July 4, 2024 after it tweeted a threat to US Attorney Joshua Levy, telling Levy that he must speak to Paul O’Keefe or suffer the consequences.

After that the account holder created a new account called @DeputyManshark that has continued to tweet vile anti-Karen Read propaganda, as well as threats to visit the homes of FKR supporters.

At the time the account was reported to the FBI the creator was anonymous. However, last week it was alleged that the account is run by a Medford man named Steven Zabroski.

Zabroski lives in Medford but works in Canton at a company called Organogenesis, INC, as the Senior Process Development Associate.

It’s a long, convoluted story about how Zabroski got outed, and I won’t bore you with all of the details. But essentially a source who knew him and was on the anti-Karen Read side came forward and outed him, which led some online sleuths to begin digging into Zabroski, looking for more proof it was him. When you searched for Steven Zabroski on Twitter two handles came up. 

One is a guy living in another country, and the other is the guy that works in Canton. He hardly ever posted anything on there, it’s really just a shell of an account. The handle was @Pickpower250 and used his real name. But another anti-FKR handle called Pickpowers without any numbers had been tag-teaming with the Braiden Carnie account.

Although this is suspicious, it doesn’t prove anything.

That’s when an online sleuth named Mike Dattoli, who runs the Twitter account @MA_Recall, decided to go to Steven’s residence and confront him directly to see if it was really him. Mike told the Braiden account he was coming, and when he got Braiden began acting nervously on Twitter.

Zabroski is also believed to be behind an account with the handle @Jessspano4554, and was tweeting at Dattoli while he was there.

While he was there the anti-KR Pickpowers was deleted, possibly because Zabroski realized he had messed up by using the same handle for his personal and one of his burners.

When Dattoli called Zabroski on the phone he immediately knew who Dattoli was and what he was doing there. But Dattoli had never told Zabroski why he was there on the phone. Dattoli just started talking to him about coming downstairs so they can talk about Twitter. Zabroski started stuttering and saying he didn’t know anything about Turtleboy didn’t know anything about Karen Read.

But the problem is that Dattoli hadn’t mentioned me or Karen, yet he knew it was about us. Then Zabroski added that he did like two of the stories Turtleboy wrote from a few years back. But if the Braiden Carnie account was really just an unrelated person how would Zabroski know Dattoli was outside his apartment to talk about FKR. Dattoli had told the Braden account on Twitter, but why would some Joe average know about that?

Zabroski hung up the phone on Dattoli when he started asking him about Bukkake. There were some Venmo receipts that indicated he hosted poker games. Dattoli also saw some other Venmo receipts, alluding to poker payments from some MSP like Bukkake and Fanning. This doesn’t prove a connection, but when he was asked about it Zabroski hung up. Why would he even entertain any of this if he was just some random guy who doesn’t use Twitter?

Dattoli started texting him and two things that seemed odd. The whole time he was denying that he was Braiden Carnie, pretending he didn’t know anything. But yet he sent screenshots to Dattoli from last September where you can see he sent Emily D Baker and some other YouTuber links to Turtleboy videos about Karen Read.

Clearly he was trying in vain to show that at one point he was a Turtleboy and Karen Read supporter, and admitted that at one point he believed Karen Read was innocent.

But the people who “switched sides” tend to be the craziest people in this entire saga.

The screenshots were from Twitter, but he cut off the account he used. He told Dattoli he had deleted the account so why did he have the screenshots handy? He also had told Dattoli that he didn’t know anything about the case. But Dattoli realized he didn’t deleted the Steven Zabroski Twitter account, he deleted the burner. So he messed up by admitting he deleted an account, but it wasn’t even the right account that he was admitting to. He said it was the only one he had.

But the kicker for Dattoli, and the strongest evidence that he was being lied to, was when Zabroski said he had sent a message to the Braiden Carnie account him to stop. This was an obvious lie because you can’t DM the Braiden Carnie account unless Braiden Carnie follows you.

And since there is no reasonable explanation for why Braiden Carnie would follow a random, uninvolved guy from Medford, it meant Zabroski was lying. When Dattoli asked Zabroski again about Yuri in the text messages, he stopped responding entirely.

Shortly after being outed on Twitter Zabroski deleted his wedding registry.

I messaged Zabroski on Facebook on September 14. He responded and blocked me shortly afterwards.

Zabroski’s uncle is Boston Police Sgt. Michael Talbot.

Sergeant Detective Talbot has an IA rating of “very concerning.”

Talbot worked alongside Brian Albert, and both were listed as witnesses in the Aaron Hernandez second murder trial.

Talbot is a big union guy who believes police can do no wrong, so it would make sense if he instinctively sided with the corrupt cops who framed Karen Read for killing his fellow BPD Officer John O’Keefe. He rubbed shoulders with several Canton Officers at a 2019 “everyone gets a trophy” award ceremony hosted by the Irish American Police Officers Association. (second from left)

Anyway, the evidence that Zabroski is behind the Braiden Carnie and @DeputyManshark accounts is very strong. He has since taken down his LinkedIn and changed his phone number. Perhaps he doesn’t want his fiance Nurah Muhamad to know about the online behavior he has been keeping a secret. She seems to be a well respected member of society as well. If Zabroski is behind the account, which he clearly seems to be, then he is a disgusting pig who deserves to be destitute and incarcerated. He is engaging in actual witness intimidation on Twitter, and did so for months because he thought he could remain anonymous. Unfortunately for him no one can stay anonymous forever. I would love to speak with someone at Organogensis to see if they condone one of their employees allegedly threatening an innocent woman while providing cover for cop killers.
