Canton Coverup Part 449: State Police Didn’t Ask For Ring Camera Footage On Fairview Road Because Ring Doesn’t Pick Up Sound From More Than 30 Feet Away

Most of the evidence proving that police covered up the murder of John O’Keefe isn’t what they DID to frame Karen Read, it wasn’t what they DIDN’T DO to investigate O’Keefe’s murder. Aside from the obvious problems of not searching the house, not questioning witnesses separately, not eliminating any of the McAlberts as suspects, and allowing a close family friend of the Alberts to lead the investigation, there is also the issue of the Ring cameras:

  1. Karen Read would’ve driven by dozens, if not hundreds of homes that had Ring cameras facing the street, which would’ve picked up video of her allegedly broken tail light if she had just run O’Keefe over with her car. This would’ve been critical evidence for the police to grab if they truly believed Read was guilty and they were serious about convicting her.
  2. Both houses across the street from Brian Albert’s house had Ring cameras pointed at 34 Fairview Road, including Deputy Chief Tom Keleher’s house which was pointed directly at where Joseph Paul alleges that Read struck him and left him to die.

Police do not have a single video showing the state of Karen Read’s tail light between 12:21 AM and 5:07 AM when Read went out looking for O’Keefe. Considering that tail light is their smoking gun for evidence, it’s pretty suspect that they’re not putting any effort in to finding out

The State Police and the Norfolk County DA’s Office routinely ask the public to review Ring camera footage if they’re looking for suspect vehicles. In June of 2023 two men were murdered in Braintree, and Michael Proctor was assigned to investigate it. Morrissey issued a statement asking anyone in town with Ring cameras that captured anything unusual to come forward to police.

When a turtle was killed and hung on my parents’ stairs on the final day of juror deliberations Worcester Police detectives knocked on every door on the street asking to review Ring camera footage. It’s routine.

But according to hack podcaster Matt Phelps, in an upcoming episode accidentally released of his failing podcast 34 Fairview Road, there was no reason for police to ask people for Ring camera footage because Ring cameras don’t pick up movement outside of 30-35 feet, and only picks up objects traveling towards them.

Two years ago I published a story about a Tyngsboro woman who got drunk in the afternoon and crashed into a car and a pedestrian in Dracut. After publishing the story someone reached out to us with Ring camera footage from their home showing how loud it was:

Ring cameras are infamous for amplifying loud noises, so it’s a complete lie that Keleher’s Ring camera wouldn’t have picked up sound. And as anyone with a Ring camera already knew, it’s ridiculous to suggest that you can only see 30 feet away on a Ring camera, or only see objects coming towards the camera. In that video you can see the condition of every vehicle’s tail light, including the drunk driver:

If Karen Read’s tail light was in the condition that police presented it in at trial, every home with a Ring camera on the right hand side of Read’s vehicle would’ve gotten a perfect picture of it.

Ring also amplifies the sound of pedestrian strikes. Listen to this poor guy get hit by a car on a Ring video.

Here’s a 7 year old girl getting plowed by a car (who miraculously gets up and walks away).

Ring cameras are amazing tools that police rightly use to help them solve all sorts of crimes.

Yet they didn’t in the murder of a Boston Police Officer.

Every narrative that the McAlbert Mafia tries to come up with to justify this coverup is debunked with five seconds of research. Of course police would pull as many videos as they could if they wanted to solve the murder. This is a Boston cop, not some vagrant. But the reason they didn’t pull any cameras is because they knew those cameras would show Read’s tail light in pristine condition between 12:21 and 5:07. They knew that this would be problematic at trial to convict Read, but they didn’t really care if she was convicted until the feds jumped in. Until the US Attorney’s Office showed up the goal wasn’t to convict Read, it was to prevent the McAlberts from being investigated. A video showing Read’s tail light in mint condition would’ve meant that she was innocent, which would’ve meant the McAlberts were guilty.

The US Attorney’s Office showing up changed everything. After that it became a dick measuring contest between Morrissey and Josh Levy. Morrissey knows that the way to justify this coverup is to get a jury to convict Read. It’s why they’re bringing out all the stops with a new prosecutor, new experts, etc. But at the end of the day Karen Read will never be convicted because investigators didn’t really investigate her, or anyone, much at all.

  1. So Micro Whiny Penis says ring only works straight on. Actually it only likes side to side motion. You can sneak up on Ring/Arlo by walking slowly straight at the camera. So he’s a Whiny Bitch

  2. I love how this guy thinks he’s solving a 30 year old cold case. Everything he’s regurgitating is old news, we ALLLLL know the truth by now and it ain’t what he’s peddling

  3. In the microdots video- good cops/bad cops.
It shows the same detectives in Braintree going door to door asking for ring camera footage!
Wouldn’t the death of an officer have been the one they don’t skip one little detail?!
Instead they CHOSE not to get those details, and fuck up any of the interviews they did have.
It was never a real investigation in any way!
How can John’s family not be outraged at the shoddy shit work?!
Not only did they not ask about footage, did anyone ask any person at the Kelliher home if they saw or heard anything? Direct view!
Why didn’t he come out that morning?!
His officer’s knocked on his door and got solo cups!! He is their superior.

    1. John’s family got his house life insurance and anything else he owned his sick brother had a go fund me and put an addition on his house who knows how John and Paul got along they should be ashamed of themselves

    2. Canton, PD backed the other cop. Well-known in department. Ask Berky.
O’Keefe wasn’t filthy enough to live in Canton. Morrissey, Spanky and gang of MSP misfits will try to destroy our faith in justice. Protect Karen Read. Officer O’Keefe RIP

  4. I read that Kelleher told detectives that his camera didn’t show anything, even though it was pointed where John’s body was found. I don’t know if that statement was accurate, but if it didn’t show anything, why not? At the very least, it should have shown what time people arrived and left the house and in what order. Those detectives should still have taken the footage into evidence.

  5. If you need a ring camera for testing your self I have one in storage you can use!
BIG Question is why isn’t anyone in the DAs office prospecting? I heard Mark asking that a couple times. My theory is, it’s a conflict of interest for the NFDA, and they are working with the FBI, Brennan. It’s my theory. I could be wrong. I could be right. Who knows…

  6. I miss the old days. Bus gate was what got me started reading TB. I am so sick of KR crap. Hopefully it will go back to the old days, but guessing his obsession with helping her out so he can bang her won’t stop until she is freed. Oh well

  7. Assistant CHIEF KELLEHER saw what happened on his Ring Cam and is now part of the murder cover-up He thinks he is doing the Brian Albert a favor.
You’re going to jail fat boy’ You know the truth

  8. Ring cameras don’t even have to show the taillight. They could prove a time line of every vehicle that went down the street including things like when Colin was dropped off and picked up, who was driving which car, the plow going by, a Ford edge in the middle of the night, etc.
