Fitchburg Man Attempts To Shame Market Basket Employee In Community Facebook Group For Letting Mask Slip, Gets Publicly Shamed Instead

A Fitchburg man was shopping at Market Basket today attempted to shame an employee on the Discussing Fitchburg Now Facebook group for allowing his mask to slip, but it didn’t go as planned.

Not enough bad things can happen to people like this. Imagine your life was so empty that you go out grocery shopping, see some poor kid working his ass off in a shirt and tie, and the first thing you think is, “I can’t wait to get on the Internet and shame him in front of a bunch of strangers – they’re going to think I am SO cool.”

If anyone has ever deserved to get coronavirus, it’s Scott Price.

It turns out that’s a teenager, and unlike a lot of kids his age he’s got a job so he can pay for his own things, instead of sitting at home and leeching off of Mom. We should be encouraging behavior like this, not shaming it for the crime of attempting to breathe while at work. If you’re still paranoid about a virus that is killing 10% of the amount of people that it was from April, then that’s your problem. For all he knows this kid could be on the tail end of an 8 hour shift and he just let his mask down for a minute because he has trouble breathing. Maybe he’s asthmatic. Scott could’ve asked the kid himself, but instead he decided to try to shame him like a coward. Luckily everyone else agreed with my assessment and he quickly regretted his decision.

When you try to shame someone but you end up getting shamed on TB instead. How “imbarising” for Scott Price.

No excuse for being a twatwaffle Scott. Maybe next time instead of trying to publicly shame a child you just buy your oatmeal and move on with your life instead.
