I Spent Weeks Helping Andy Ngo Write The Mikayla Miller Story But Newsweek Refused To Let Him Cite My Reporting, Claimed It Was First Time Ex-Girlfriend’s Mother Was Speaking Publicly
A month or so ago I reached out to journalist Andy Ngo on Twitter about the Mikayla Miller story. I’m a fan of Andy’s work, and I know he likes to expose fake hate crimes, so I figured he would be a good person with a large platform (he has almost 1 million Twitter followers) to report on this. I spent weeks working with him on the story which was finally published in Newsweek over the weekend. There’s just one problem – nowhere in the article or Andy’s tweets about the story was Turtleboy ever mentioned.

The article says that “for the first time” Mikayla’s ex-girlfriend’s family was speaking out.
This is untrue, as not only did I interview and write about her ex-gf’s mother, I also had her on as a guest on the live show.
