Luke Noble Loses Decisively In North Andover Selectmen Election
Luke Noble suffered a humiliating defeat in yesterday’s North Andover Board of Selectmen election, finishing a distant third in the race for two seats.
Don’t worry Luke, there’s a plot in the Turtleboy graveyard with your name on it.
I hope politicians were watching this. You cannot ignore TB Daily News. Luke Noble’s election was a done deal three months ago. When you are endorsed by a governor with a 74% approval rating in a town that is fairly moderate, you have a huge advantage over your opponents. The only reason he lost is because we accurately reported that Luke Noble was accused by his own daughter of sexual abuse, and had a video released showing him verbally abusing that same crying girl.
Luke Noble should’ve dropped out of the election when this all came out, but his ego wouldn’t allow it. He clearly thought our reporting didn’t matter, as long as we were the only ones reporting. After all, it’s just a blog. Nobody actually reads TB. Maybe if he just ignored it people would forget about it by election day. He counted on the Eagle Tribune and Valley Patriot ignoring the story, and they did despite having full knowledge of it.
Turns out that didn’t matter, because everyone in town had read the blog and reached their own conclusion. Hundreds of people who would’ve been inclined to vote for him decided not to because of our reporting, and now this volatile monster won’t be allowed near the levers of power. I took this story very seriously and kept on reporting about it, and I’ll do so to any person who is accused of doing something heinous to children.
The biggest surprise is that the two people who won both posted this the day before the election:
This was clearly two people reading off the same script and posting the same nonsense, although at least Laura Bates put the disclaimer that she does not endorse the behavior in the video. Particularly this behavior.
But someone should tell Laura and Chris Nobile that I’m not anonymous, and my name is Aidan Kearney. I didn’t depict Luke in a “vicious and ugly manner,” I simply reported what his daughter, her doctor, and therapist all alleged that he did to the girl. Perhaps instead of blaming me for reporting it they should be thanking me because without our reporting one of them would’ve lost last night.
