Pentucket Teacher Charged With Possession Of Kiddie Porn Has Tik Tok Where He Communicated With 6th Graders, Used Kid Models For Clothing Line
This is Kenny Niven from Merrimac.
He’s a substitute teacher in the Pentucket Regional School District (Merrimac, West Newbury, Groveland), who also started his own clothing line called Kenny Niven clothing.
Despite being a substitute teacher who no one outside of his circle of friends has ever heard of, Kenny still seems to believe people will want to buy $10 t-shirts with his name on it.
Kenny’s models mostly consist of him staring deeply into the abyss as if he’s some sort of deep thinker, but he does at least have a couple friends who volunteered too.
He also does autographs.
But I guess business wasn’t going that well because this BTS reject had to cut the price of his crappy sweatshirts when no one wanted to buy them.
He needed a job that actually pays money so he started substitute teaching in the hopes of becoming a guidance counselor.
But there’s just one problem – Kenny has a thing for kiddie porn.
A 24-year old Merrimac man, who served as an “on-call” substitute teacher in the Pentucket School District, was arraigned this afternoon on child pornography charges. Kenneth Niven pleaded not guilty in Newburyport District Court to Possession of Child Pornography and Photographing an Unsuspecting Nude Person. Judge Allen Swan set bail at $15,000 and ordered him to stay away from and have no contact with persons under 18 and not to use social media. Merrimac Police initiated an investigation that uncovered two alleged images of child pornography on the defendant’s phone. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
Yikes. That’s not good. Doesn’t help his cause that he uses kid models for his clothing line.
In case you thought K-Pop Kiddie Porn Kenny couldn’t get any creepier, he also has a Tik Tok where he regularly interacts with children. As many of you know, I used to be a high school teacher, and I can tell you that the number one rule of social media use for teachers is you don’t follow, friend request, or communicate with kids on your personal social media. Normal teachers have no desire to do that because they like to keep their work and personal lives separate, and they didn’t go into education to become friends with a bunch of 15 year olds.
But K-Pop Kiddie Porn Kenny isn’t a regular teacher, he’s a cool teacher.
Keep in mind, he’s a substitute, not a real teacher. He fills in when the teacher is sick and hands out worksheets, and his primary job is to keep the kids occupied and make sure the classroom doesn’t burn to the ground.
Yet online he acts like he’s some beloved teacher who’s been with this group of 6th graders for the past 3 years and is emotionally attached to them. His Facebook posts and Tik Toks are unbelievably cringe.
You cried? Bruh, you’re a sub, and this is your job, not your family. It’s normal to develop friendly, appropriate relationships with students, so long as it’s always clear that there are certain lines that can never be crossed. It was fulfilling to watch kids grow, succeed, and move on with life. But this? This is just extremely cringe “look at me” narcissism. Here’s another Tik Tok he made in which he filmed himself dramatically crying in his car on the last day of school.
You’re a substitute teacher who downloads kiddie porn in his free time. Get over yourself.
This video was filled with comments from 11 and 12 year olds that he responds to, telling them how much he’s gonna miss them.
You’re a substitute teacher. The kids don’t even call you Mister, they just call you Kenny because ultimately they have no respect for you. You went into this line of work to be cool, find friends, and maybe diddle a kid or two when no one was looking. You even weirdly referred to them as “my 6th graders.”
Nah dude, they were never yours. They weren’t the REAL teacher’s 6th graders either. They have parents who love them and trusted the school district to provide them with teachers who acted like adults. Instead they got you.
My question is, where was the school district when this substitute teacher was openly communicating with children on Tik Tok? How was that not red flagged? If I had EVER allowed students to post on my Facebook page like this I would’ve been identified and brought to the office in 5 seconds. Somehow no one at Pentucket noticed though. Maybe they should try monitoring this stuff. Just a thought.
