Shirley Mother Charged With Larceny After Creating Imaginary Friend To Share Fraudulent Cancer GoFundMe Months After Telling Me I Would Get Karma For Exposing Her

Two months ago I published a blog about a Shirley mother named Michelle Westberry, AKA Michelle Noel, AKA Michelle Bomil, who created an imaginary friend named Kelley Lukus to share a GoFundMe for cancer she never had, and then shared Kelley’s cancer GoFundMe in return.

It’s all very confusing but the long and short of it is that Kelley Lukus was created by Michelle to share Michelle’s GoFundMe’s because it seemed more legitimate if someone else was raising money for her. Kelley getting cancer herself was just an added bonus because if you’re willing to lie about a real person having cancer then you might as well lie about a fake person having it.

Michelle also used her teenage daughter to share her scheme on several pages, and claimed that Kelley Lukus was a very real person who she wouldn’t let anyone meet, despite no record of her existing.

Michelle told this reporter that Karma would get me for writing that blog about a poor woman suffering from cancer.

But upon further review it appears as if Cancer Karen is the one who got a visit from Karma:

Police are pursuing criminal charges against a woman for allegedly creating fraudulent online fundraising pages. Shirley Police Chief Samuel Santiago said the department submitted a complaint for charges against Michelle Westberry, of Shirley, in Ayer District Court on Jan. 13. Santiago said the charges include larceny over $1,200 by a single scheme, larceny under $1,200 by a single scheme, attempted larceny by a single scheme, larceny under $1,200 by false pretenses, and larceny over $1,200 by false pretenses.

In a statement to the Nashoba Valley Voice received on Wednesday, Westberry, 40, said she did not spend any of the donated money “for any reason” and refunded all donors within 24 hours. The charges stem from an investigation that started in December, when the department was tipped off to three fundraising pages on GoFundMe.com. One page, started by a woman named Michelle Bomil, raised $700 to help a family that allegedly all had the coronavirus and needed help during the holiday season. The two other pages were both titled “Mother diagnosed with cancer is in desperate need,” one founded by a woman named Kelley Linkus, who was said to have been diagnosed with breast cancer and needed to pay a percentage of the medical treatment required, while the other was founded by a woman named Kelley Linkis established on behalf of a friend named Michelle Noel, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer in October 2018. The latter page could no longer be found on the website.

Hey Michelle, let me give you a little piece of advice that you gave me –

Best of luck, you’re gonna need it.

All you have to do now is get a doctor to lie about you having cancer and then produce a woman who doesn’t exist who also has cancer and you should be good to go. But because this woman simply is incapable of shutting her felatio farm, she’s still giving statements to the media which undoubtably are lies as well.

In her statement, Westberry said: “I want to say I have been as cooperative as possible with the police and GoFundMe. GoFundMe investigated and closed their investigation without any fault on my part. According to the clerk magistrate at the Ayer District Court and other employees in the clerks office, no charges have been filed against me. The surgery that the GoFundMe was for is scheduled in February. The donations made were no longer a medical necessity. I chose to have GoFundMe refund all that donated.”

Yea guys, you’ll just have to take her word for it that she has a surgery coming up this month. She’s pretty trustworthy since she chose to have GoFundMe return all the money she scammed after realizing suddenly that she no longer needed the cash. Except GFM is the one who decided to refund all the money, not Michelle.

Madison Jones, GoFundMe’s northeast region spokesperson, confirmed on Jan. 7 that all of the people who donated to those pages were refunded. Jones would not confirm whether the investigation is ongoing or if Westberry will face any punishment from GoFundMe. She said there were no new updates with the investigation as of Tuesday.

I deal with scam artists like this on a daily basis while blogging for Turtleboy, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so obviously guilty continue to pretend that she’s not, despite the fact that not a single person in the entire world actually believes her. Sounds like a certain narcissist I know, just sayin. Good thing she reproduced and is raising her child to learn how to continue the family business of scamming.

Best of luck Michelle!!
