Somerville Turns Into Occupied Territory As Cops Search For Bank Robber Who Shot At Police, Citizen Bravely Attempts To Stop Him

As I write this there’s an animal with a gun shooting at cops and robbing banks in the streets of Somerville:

The State Police reported 3 hours ago that they have one person in custody.

But according to reports they have not apprehended the bank robber.

In the meantime residents are urged to stay inside as the streets of Somerville are quickly starting to resemble Watertown on that fateful night in April of 2013.

Unfortunately kids are still in school, and will likely remain in lockdown until this suspect is apprehended.

Meanwhile, a hero emerged who saw the bank robber running away and instinctively threw him to the ground.

Someone buy this guy a beer:

In all seriousness, it’s pretty scary to think someone is out there with nothing to lose who isn’t afraid to shoot cops. People who aren’t afraid to shoot at cops certainly aren’t afraid to shoot at civilians. Stay off the roads until they find him.
