Sources: Waltham City Councilor And Husband Charged With Larceny For Stealing Support Police Sign From Cop Neighbor’s Yard

Sources from the police are reporting that Waltham City Councilor Kristine Mackin and her husband Reid Gilman will be summonsed to Waltham District Court to face one count each of larceny under $1,200, a misdemeanor. This has not been announced by the police yet, but reliable sources are confirming it after we blogged about them last week.

The police officer they stole the sign from saved the lives of the Brandeis students who live in between them when they were stabbed back in September 2019 too.

If they had just told the police the truth when they were questioned about it and returned the sign they’d probably be in the clear. Instead they made up an alibi that they were doing the unthinkable at the time of the crime – fornicating. Turns out the police don’t appreciate being treated like they’re stupid by elected officials who tried and failed to defund the police, nor do they appreciate people who are so offended by a sign supporting police officers that they commit larceny.

Mackin used to post daily on social media (Twitter and Facebook) but hasn’t said a thing since we blogged about her last week. Her most recent Facebook post has been completely taken over by turtle riders and remarkably she hasn’t shut it down or blocked anyone.

Kristin Mackin must resign. The immaturity she showed in not only committing this crime but then lying about disqualifies her from providing input on the city’s budget. She should probably sell her house to a black family for half of what it’s worth to pay her debt for reparations and then move to Cambridge or Northampton so she can be with her kind. In the meantime, I wrote a special rap that includes her.
