In late March TB Daily News reported that Woonsocket teacher Amy Bednarz had tweeted out a threat to President Trump.
Today it was reported that she resigned:
A Woonsocket teacher accused of urging people infected with the coronavirus to cough on President Donald Trump has resigned. The Woonsocket School Committee voted 5-0 Wednesday night to accept a settlement agreement with Amy Bednarz. As part of that agreement, Bednarz tendered her resignation. Bednarz allegedly tweeted in March: “Somebody with Covid-19, I will pay you to cough on #Trump.” In subsequent post, she identified herself as a sixth-grade ELL teacher at Villanova Middle School in Woonsocket. The account has since been deleted. Education Commissioner Angelica Infante-Green also responded to the accusations, saying it was not acceptable and “not representative of the overwhelming majority of Rhode Island teachers.”
This contradicts earlier reports from Woonsocket Public School teacher Keith Kazarski who said that his sources claimed that the tweet was fake, and that the police were investigating the IP address of the person who smeared Ms. Bednarz.
Almost as if TDS is a actual disease that prevents people from seeing what is plainly in front of their eyes.
And has anyone seen this man?
John O’Rourke was quite adamant at the time that the story could not be true because TB Daily News was reporting it, and TB Daily News is not a reputable news outlet.
If the Providence Journal doesn’t write about it then it must not be true. It’s not like the Providence Journal has ever published a blatantly untrue story about a 9 year old boy and his career criminal mother donating money to pay off school lunch debts.
And it’s not like ProJo reporter Linda Borg ever refused to do a followup on the story after it was revealed that Kylie Kirkpatrick was arrested and charged with 8 felonies for abusing her child and defrauding the public.
We can always trust the mainstream media to report the truth. Always.
Except in this case they didn’t report the truth, but TB Daily News did. Any comment from Mr. O’Rourke?
Now he sees actual evidence because a “reputable” news source that falsely reported the Kylie Kirkpatrick lie and then never corrected it is now publishing the exact same information we published a month ago. Makes sense.
