Canton Coverup Part 404: Lt. John Fanning Survived Internal Affairs Investigation By Saying He Was On Vacation When Michael Proctor Texted Him About Looking For Karen Read Noodz

Yesterday the Boston Globe reported that a public records request showed that Lt. Brian Tully, Lt. John Fanning, and Sgt. Yuri Bukhenik were under internal affairs investigation solely as a result of their involvement with Michael Proctor’s inappropriate text messages. None of them were being investigated for their blatant mishandling of the suspicious deaths of John O’Keefe or Sandra Birchmore.

Detective Lt. David Twomey is in charge of the investigation, and in his report he noted that Bukkake liked the text in a group chat with other detectives, where Proctor posted a picture of David Yannetti and said that he was going through Yannetti’s “retarded client’s phone.” Bukkake also did a laugh reaction to the photo itself.

My question is, why is Tully under investigation and not David Diccico and Jeff Kotkowski? Both of them were in Proctor’s group chat. Kotkowski asked Proctor if Karen Read was a smoke, to which he replied “ehhh, weird Fall River accent, no ass.”

Dicicco’s texts were much more troubling. When Proctor texted “Vito” Diccico to tell him about Karen Read’s statements at the Milton barracks on the day she was arrested for a second time, in which she accused Brian and Colin Albert of beating up O’Keefe, Diccico responded by saying “Fuck her, bitch.”

Even more troubling was how Diccico told Proctor it was a “rookie move” when he failed to get a homicide determination the first time he met with the medical examiner in Read’s case. Diccico went so far to state that he and Kostkowski would’ve been able to get the ME to say what they wanted her to say, had they been in charge of the investigation.

These three clowns work for the same District Attorney’s Office that investigated Sandra Birchmore’s murder and got the ME to rule it a suicide, which allowed a murdering child rapist to roam the streets freely for the next 4 years.

Brian Tully should be under internal affairs investigation because he is Michael Proctor’s boss and signed off on all of his fraudulent police reports. He was aware of Proctor’s close relationship with the McAlberts and didn’t take him off the case. He was aware of an eye witness who saw a Ford Edge parked next to where O’Keefe’s body was found at 3 AM and did NOTHING to investigate who was driving the car. He has dedicated countless hours, paid for by the taxpayers, including a trip to California to interview the least relevant “witness” ever, to pursuing an award winning journalist for reporting on corruption in the DA’s Office and the State Police.

But apparently he is only under investigation due to these text messages, which it doesn’t seem he was a part of.

Meanwhile, Lt. Fanning’s IA investigation is over and although he wasn’t cleared, the allegations were not sustained. That’s because Twomey believed Fanning’s story that he didn’t read any of the group text messages he received from Proctor because he was on vacation with his family in North Carolina.

Because apparently people don’t check their phones for text messages when they’re on vacation. The entire state of North Carolina has no cell service of wifi. In fact, Fanning claims that he didn’t know about any of these messages until he heard Proctor testify, which means they must be sitting in his phone unread as we speak.

This is the same Lt. Fanning, who as we will see, used someone called “Krusty Panties” as his only source to have an award winning journalist indicted for wiretapping. The same Lt. Fanning who immediately ruled Sandra Birchmore’s death a suicide, and mocked Kirk Minihane for investigating the possibility that she may have been murdered. The same Lt. Fanning who was in charge of shepherding the jury in the Karen Read case, and had a juror removed on the final day of the trial after finding out that she had written “they’re all liars” in her court issued notebook.

Meanwhile, Bukkake is driving all across the Commonwealth intimidating random women who exercised their First Amendment rights on social media by messaging Jennifer McCabe and telling her that they don’t like her because she participated in a murder. He isn’t the least bit worried about the fact that he participated in a murder coverup because Lt. Twomey is too busy focusing on whether or not he liked one of Proctor’s text messages.
