Yesterday I was at Stoughton District Court to stand in solidarity with this guy:
Rich Schiffer is the owner of Canton Fence, and was charged with 2 counts of felony witness intimidation, 2 counts of harassment, and 6 counts of littering after the Canton Police Department conducted a 6 month investigation into who was behind the dropping of rubber duckies at various locations in town. The rubber duckies themselves were not illegal, it was what he wrote on the bottom of them that got him charged – “Colin did it.” Detective Tim Taylor claims that his boss, Selectman Chris “Jailbird” Albert, experienced emotional harm when he found these duckies on Washington Street.
I have said from the beginning that I have no proof Colin Albert murdered John O’Keefe. However, it’s not illegal to say “Colin did it,” simply because Colin and Chris Albert claim that reading that makes them experience emotional harm. “Colin did it” doesn’t stipulate what “it” is. Even if it said “Colin murdered John O’Keefe,” that would be a legally protected OPINION. And not a minority opinion either. Today I posted a poll on Twitter to ask people if in their opinion Colin Albert had something to do with the murder of John O’Keefe. Almost 93% have answered yes so far:
A man named Rich Schiffer has been charged with witness intimidation for writing his opinion on rubber ducks that “Colin did it,” and dropping those messages around town like modern day leaflets. In your opinion did Colin Albert have anything to do with the murder of John okeefe?
— Aidan Kearney (@DoctorTurtleboy) October 24, 2024
In the United States of America you are allowed to have opinions and say them out loud. You are allowed to say “Casey Anthony did it,” just as you are allowed to say “Karen Read did it,” even though neither have been convicted of anything. Colin Albert has not been convicted of anything either, but only because he wasn’t properly investigated.
If someone held a gun to my head and asked, “Was Colin Albert involved in the death of John O’Keefe,” and me living or dying depended on answering that question correctly, I would say “Yes.” And so would the vast majority of people in that scenario. Even some of the loudest McAlbert supporters wouldn’t bet their LIVES on Colin Albert’s innocence. I WOULD bet my life on Karen Read’s innocence and not lose any sleep over it. That’s the difference between us and them.
It’s very normal to have the opinion that Colin Albert was involved in John O’Keefe’s death for a number of reasons. And although collectively these would not be enough to convict him of murder, it’s more than enough to make a reasonable person believe he was involved. If the police had done a REAL investigation it is quite likely that Colin Albert and many others would have been arrested for John O’Keefe’s murder. If they were all questioned separately at the police station, if Brian Albert’s house was searched, if they got warrants for their phones, or did close to the amount of work that they did investigating Rich Schiffer, then it’s quite likely that Karen Read would not be the one on trial right now. But they didn’t, so we are left to speculate with our opinions.
There are many reasons that a reasonable person (93% of people who voted in the poll) would believe that Colin Albert killed John O’Keefe.
- He had no explanation for his knuckles.
On the stand Colin claimed that his knuckles had been cut in this February 26, 2022 image after he slipped on some ice and braced his fall with his knuckles. No reasonable person believes that a human being would brace their fall with their knuckles instead of their palms. Why would he lie about how his knuckles got cut up while under oath in a murder trial? Innocent people don’t do that.
2. He was never questioned by police until July of 2023.
At the very least, Colin was admittedly inside Brian Albert’s home until at least 12:10 AM. There is no reason police should not have at least interviewed him. Yet Detectives Bukhenik and Proctor did not question him about anything until July 26, 2023. In that interview the only questions they asked him pertained to how he was a victim of harassment and intimidation as a result of my factual reporting, which they called “false alternative theories.” Colin told them he felt “sad, scared, and super paranoid” as a result of being mentioned in my reporting. The fact that he was never questioned by police is extremely suspicious.
3. Colin dropped out of school after being visited in his dorm room by 2 FBI agents on April 10, 2023.
Normal, innocent witnesses in murder trials do not get visited by FBI agents in their dorm rooms and given subpoenas to testify in front of a grand jury in regard to the federal government’s investigation that failed to investigate Colin Albert. It’s reasonable to believe that the FBI also believes “Colin did it.” The Alberts glorify football and other sports. Colin wouldn’t just drop out of school and give up football simply because people online were saying mean things about him.
4. Colin drove a Ford Edge.
A Ford Edge was seen by Lucky Loughran parked outside of Brian Albert’s house at 3 AM on the morning John O’Keefe was murdered, half an hour after Loughran drove by the house and reported that there was no body on the lawn. After the Ford Edge left O’Keefe’s body appeared on the lawn in the exact same spot where the Ford Edge was seen by Loughran. Despite knowing that Colin Albert drove a Ford Edge, investigators never questioned Colin about this. They only questioned him about how he was a victim of witness intimidation, so that they could charge Turtleboy.
5. Colin Albert constantly portrays himself as a violent sociopath who glorifies violence on social media.
Given his lust for violence it would be completely normal for police to view him as a potential suspect and establish his whereabouts on that night. Instead they just took his family’s word for it that he wasn’t there.
6. Colin Albert lied about never being in a fight.
While under oath in a murder trial Colin Albert testified that he had never been in a fight with anyone but his brothers. Shortly after that we found 3 videos of Colin getting into fights. There are also videos of him threatening to “knock out, bang-bang” rival teenagers from Hingham, which is not something any reasonable person would believe that you would say if you had never been in a fight before. If Colin was willing to lie so easily while under oath in a murder trial, knowing that it could easily be proven that he lied, then he’s capable of lying about being involved in a murder.
7. Colin had previous issues with John O’Keefe.
Colin’s parents mockingly called John O’Keefe “Nebbercracker” because he complained about Colin walking on his lawn and littering it with beer cans. This doesn’t give him motive to murder, but it shows that the two weren’t fond of each other, and if they were both drinking it’s very believable that a physical confrontation between them could have occurred. Colin would likely lose a fight to O’Keefe one on one, so this would require other people to help him. If a trained fighter like Brian Albert, a vicious dog, and a large ATF agent who was trying to bang O’Keefe’s girlfriend were also there, it would be a lot easier.
8. Colin Albert’s “alibi” doesn’t prove anything.
Colin claims he was picked up at 12:10 by Allie McCabe. The only evidence shown to back this up was a screenshot provided by Chris Albert to police, of what they claim is a text message between Colin and Allie:
It does not say in that message where Colin is asking Allie to pick him up from at 11:54. He could easily be asking her to pick him up somewhere to bring him TO Brian Albert’s house. This would make more sense than her having to pick him up AT Brian Albert’s house, since the party wasn’t getting started there until the adults got home from the Waterfall Bar. This text message is likely doctored, as no reasonable person believes that Allie and Colin wouldn’t talk for 3 weeks after a dead body was found on their uncle’s yard, at a house they had allegedly left 10 minutes before O’Keefe arrived. The fact that THIS was the best offer of an alibi for Colin Albert, and that the police didn’t ask for a phone extraction or something that could better prove where he was at 12:20, would make any reasonable person believe that police were protecting Colin Albert.
9. Jill Daniels and others REALLY want to make it clear Colin wasn’t at Brian Albert’s house when John O’Keefe got there, even though it wouldn’t matter if he was there.
If Karen Read killed John O’Keefe outside the house then it doesn’t matter who was inside the house when that happened. But if Colin WAS in the house the police would need to talk to him more about what he saw or heard outside the house, and what he saw on the lawn when he left the house. Colin is very stupid, and not very believable. The family knew he was a liability, so the less he spoke to police the better.
10. Colin Albert called Erin Beatty at 12:33 AM.
Teenagers don’t use their phones to call each other. They text or use Snapchat. When Erin Beatty called him back the next day he reportedly said “never mind.” Whatever he needed her for at 12:33, he no longer need her for the next day. Chris Albert tried to get Tom Beatty to take back this story, but Beatty refused. Why would Chris Albert want Tom Beatty to do that if Colin did nothing wrong? What innocent person would want someone to lie in a murder trial, unless they were trying to protect someone who was guilty? Erin Beatty and her father were socially ostracized and harassed due to their failure to lie to protect Colin Albert.
10. Colin Albert’s story about why he was at Brian Albert’s house at all makes no sense.
Colin Albert testified that he went to Brian Albert’s house to wish Brian Albert Jr. a happy birthday, and then asked Allie McCabe to give him a ride home. No reasonable person believes that Colin would ask for a ride to his uncle’s house while it was snowing, just so he could say happy birthday to his much older gay cousin in person instead of via text message, and then ask for Uber Allie to pick him up and deliver him home to be in bed by midnight.
11. According to Colin’s father Chris there is no way Colin could have been home before 12:40, which meant he likely didn’t leave until past 12:30.
12. Colin lied about pointless things during his testimony.
Colin testified several times that he never spoke with anyone his family about the trial, and didn’t even talk to his family in preparation for his testimony. No reasonable person believes that a family that has been widely accused of being involved in a murder coverup wouldn’t discuss any of this prior to testifying in a murder trial, in which their lives are literally on the line. If they’re lying about something like that, what else are they capable of lying about? Reasonable people could hold the opinion that nothing these people say can be trusted, including their claims that Colin wasn’t involved in killing John O’Keefe.
13. The ONLY thing Colin could remember is that he was picked up at exactly 12:10 by Allie McCabe.
Colin couldn’t “recall” anything during his testimony, except for the exact minute that he was picked up by Allie McCabe 2.5 years ago. If he said “I don’t know what time I left” it would’ve opened up the possibility that he was there when O’Keefe arrived. It’s perfectly reasonable to hold the opinion that Colin was hiding something as a result of this.
14. Colin has known the Proctor’s since he was a child.
The lead investigator’s mother referred to Colin’s family as a “second family.” Colin was the ring bearer in Michael Proctor’s sister’s wedding. Regardless of how close Colin and Michael Proctor were, there would certainly be pressure from Courtney Proctor, Jill Daniels, and Colin’s parents NOT to question Colin Albert. This was a clear and obvious conflict that Proctor never reported. It’s perfectly reasonable to believe that this was by design.
15. Colin’s mother offered a gift to Michael Proctor on the day Karen Read was arrested.
Julie Albert sent Michael Proctor’s sister a text message offering Proctor a “thank you” gift on the day Karen Read was arrested. There is no reasonable explanation for why Julie Albert would want to buy Proctor a thank you gift for arresting the person who allegedly killed a man she’s not related to, unless she was grateful that Proctor didn’t treat her son as a potential suspect.
I’m sure there are many other reasons why people would hold the opinion that Colin Albert was involved in the death of John O’Keefe, but it doesn’t really matter. You’re allowed to believe whatever you want to believe in a free country, no matter how sad that makes Colin and Chris Albert. Rich Schiffer has done nothing wrong, and the First Amendment protects his right to write his opinions on rubber ducks and leave them around town so that other people can hear what he thinks.
The real crime involving the ducks is that the Canton PD and Trooper Bukhenic wasted any resources and time on it.
As for Colin, he really is the ultimate loser. He’s the product of two loser parents so it’s not entirely his fault. What comes across about him is that he is not very intelligent. He’s quite dumb and that is very obvious, maybe even “Simple”
And yes, he is involved. We know he has a history of fighting, probably loves to fight too, so of course he is involved some way. Why else would so many go out of their way to make sure they stick to that narrative that he wasn’t there when in fact he was there.
Keep the faith… Justice is almost here

Can we find out more about Colin’s keeper: Jason Marcel
Colin was there
Colin got into a fight with John
Colin was losing the fight
the other Albert losers jumped in and John was hit with something, killing him.
Unrelated, mostly….but Colin, you do realize that you are going to go bald too right? Probably within the next 5-10 years.
You’ll look just as heinous as your dad & uncle do now. Such a pity….. Bright orange jumpsuit, balding. Yikes. That’s got to sting. Especially while knowing all those well off Hingham boys from Boston Advantage Hockey Club will still be enjoying life, wearing their Jcrew & Brooks Brothers, spending their weekends in Nantucket, while you are spending your time in Shirley.
It looked like John fought a family grizzly bears. It may have started out a fair fight but no way these numbskulls don’t jump in. It’s in their shanty dna to fight dirty. It was the group of them that killed him. And man did he ever put up a fight. The lot of em had injuries. May he rest in peace. He deserved far better than that.
Side note- that screen shot has to be from Allie’s phone… and during the trial they said that Colin gave a screenshot to his dad Chris. But wouldn’t it have had to come from Allie? When you are in a text convo on iphone the person you are texting to shows at the top… if it was Collin’s phone then it would have shown Allie at the top
so since was allowed and presented as evidence in the trial.. then Karen’s team should absolutely get access to both Allie and Collin’s phones.
The text screenshot is a bad photoshop job, just like the rest of their digital evidence, i.e. the inverted sallyport video with the wrong tail light colored white, the driveway dashcam photo where the passenger side tail light is a ball of fuzz if you zoom in on it. Notice when the texts go from Jan 28th to Jan29th. It’s the only smartphone in history that didn’t know it was the next day! Also, some digital savvy folks have run the image through analyzers that look for artifacts in the image. It is 100% photoshopped.
Two different colors of blue. Colon’s name not centered under the avatar. Amateur hour.
Exactly. The white crap all over the wrong tail light in the inverted video looks like they used MS Paint! Amateur hour indeed!!
If I were a billionaire, I’d put up billboards all over Can’n displaying the words from Soviet dissident Alexander Solzhenitsyn:
“LIVE NOT BY LIES.”
It seems the Select Board in Canton control what, if anything, is displayed on any billboard in town. Corruption all around!
Has anyone seen Berky ? Any proof of life ??
More of these lists to break down main points of why the McAlberts are guilty please! They are great reminders for us that watched the trial and even better for those that are catching up!!
Bang bang!
Colin did it. Colin did what? Colin who? Should everyone named Colin feel emotional stress?
CPD should be ashamed of themselves for even investigating this foolishness. They spent six months tracking down the duck perp, and not even 2 hours investigating Officer John Okeefe’s murder.
The kid is FAS or concussed. Protected by criminal family: Dad Chris and disgraced uncle cops Kev and Bri. Represented by legal defense that controls testimony and media. Read Aidan’s Canton Coverup Pt. 119 it exposes corruption in Norfolk County. Explains why Morrissey’s first thought every morning must be: Payback’s a bitch.
“Gee Moe….. That Colin kid looks just like Arnie Cuntingham on the movie Christine. Say… Do you think the Ford Edge may be haunted??”
Those knuckles!
What is really odd is seeing Julie’s condolences. They all seem so void of any human emotion.
Must have been coerced by someone with a soul.
you have to make higgins for the primary antagonist. he’s the one that actually makes sense.
So investigating “rubber ducks” took the police 6 months, while investigating the “death of a man” took them 3 days?!? FAT BALL MORRISSEY AND HIS PERVERSELY CORRUPT & STUPID POSSE ALL NEED TO BE IN PRISON.
