A handicapped turtle rider from Worcester emailed us today about about her experience with an able-bodied man who illegally parked in a handicapped ramp spot outside of Chipotle.
Can you please put this asshole on blast?? Went to get myself some dinner. I am handicapped and have a placard. While I’m getting ready to back out, this jerk backs into the space between the 2 handicapped spots, the space designated for chair lifts or whatever means that a disabled person may need to get out of their vehicle. I looked at him questioningly and explained what the purpose of the reserved space was for. Kindly actually I wasn’t a jerk. His response was “well you can call the cops while I go get me some Chipotle”. That upset me. I don’t have a wheel chair and it can be tough for me using a cane or walker even when people park like assholes. So I took some pictures and then a video of him coming out and driving off. He called me a racist white girl.
The trifecta of dooshnozzelry:
- Unrepentant about parking in a handicapped spot
- Uses the race card on a disabled woman in order to victimize himself
- Drives around with head phones as a fashion statement
If you spend more time on your hair than your girlfriend, you’re doing life wrong. I’d love to know this gentleman’s name if any turtle turtle riders out there would like to run license plate 9FN 923 for me. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or message on Facebook if you want to give us a name. Screenshot the Facebook page too, because those usually go down quickly after being featured on TB Daily News. Parking in handicapped spots will always rub me the wrong way. Not only does it prevent disabled people from unloading their wheelchair ramps, it’s also cheating. We’d all like to park in those spots, but we don’t because we’re not scumbags.
P.S. If you send us a video instead of pictures, and it has the perpetrator in it, we’re much more likely to publish your handicapped parkers.
