Andy Ngo Won’t Stop Stealing My Stories And Doesn’t Want Me To Talk About It
Editor’s Note: There is an update to this story.
We will be talking about this topic in more detail on the Live Show tonight at 9 PM, and I’m bringing receipts of my months long conversation with Andy Ngo that shows he blatantly stole his story on Mikayla Miller after having me do most of the work for him. Click here to subscribe to our YouTube channel and never miss an episode.
Conservative independent journalist Andy Ngo has been stealing my work for over a year now and it’s starting to get ridiculous. Most recently Turtleboy was the first media outlet to report that Lesa Lamplin, the politician godmother of Duke fake hate crime volleyball player Rachel Richardson, falsely accused a judge of being racist over 10 years ago in Fort Worth. Andy Ngo follows me on Twitter, and a week after we reported on this he suddenly found the story too:
BYU isn't the first victim Judge candidate Lesa Pamplin falsely accused of racism after falling for a hoax. She accused a judge of sending racist emails and tried to recuse her from all cases before admitting that she was duped with fake emails:https://t.co/Eac1lo2kdG

I even alerted Andy to the story by tagging him:
Last year I was furious when we collaborated on the Mikayla Miller story for months, and then he published his story with zero citations or attribution. It was literally stolen work. I criticized him briefly on Twitter and he asked me to take the tweets down. I did, because I figured a professional relationship with Andy Ngo could be good for Turtleboy. But since then he has continued to steal our work time and time again. Tonight I’ll be showing you our entire conversation so you can see exactly what he did, and just how unethical his journalism is.
