Karen Read has a hearing on Monday July 22 at 9 AM in Norfolk Superior Court. The buffer zone is no longer in effect so we will be holding a support rally outside the courthouse starting as early as 7 AM. Currently Judge Katie Rayburn is assigned in the main courtroom, while Judge Joseph Leighton is assigned in courtroom 25 where the trial was held. Auntie Bev is listed as the Judge in Courtroom 20 for civil cases.
However, Auntie Bev is the Regional Administrative Justice in Norfolk Superior Court, so she gets to decide where and when judges will sit. Last July she was bumped Judge Daniel O’Shea from the main courtroom when he was assigned to the case, and I assume she will again. She loves the spotlight way too much, and is clearly personally invested in this case.
Many believe a second trial will not happen, but I don’t see any way it doesn’t happen. The only thing that can stop it is federal intervention, and I have confirmed through sources that the federal investigation is 100% not finished. The feds believed that they gave the defense enough evidence that the DA’s Office or Judge Cannone would be forced to drop the charges. Hence why they told David Yannetti in January “they cannot in good conscience allow this to go to trial.”
However, they clearly underestimated how shameless and corrupt Norfolk County is. The calls between Brian Albert and Brian Higgins at 2:22, the ARCCA experts confirming that John O’Keefe wasn’t hit by a car, the FBI confirmation of Jennifer McCabe’s 2:27 AM Google search, and all of Michael Proctor’s text messages were basically ignored.
I believe that John’s killers will likely never be held accountable for what they’ve done. It would be very hard to convict any of them because all of the evidence has been destroyed and a proper investigation was not done in a timely matter. But the world knows what the McAlberts have done to John O’Keefe and Karen Read, and every time they show their faces in public they will have to face the reality that everyone looking at them views them as the cold blooded murderers they are.
However, it’s not too late to hold the people accountable to covered up John’s murder. The McAlberts didn’t arrest and charge Karen Read or this award winning journalist. The State Police and Norfolk County DA’s Office did. They are the reason the McAlberts will likely get away with what they’ve done. And unlike the McAlberts the feds will be able to prove their complicity. Josh Levy is not going to let them get away with what they’ve done to both John and Karen.
In the meantime, what will change in the next trial if it goes forward? The defense will have a huge advantage because:
- Michael Proctor will likely be fired or suspended without pay in round 2. This will destroy his credibility much worse than the text messages did, and will cast reasonable doubt on the entire investigation.
- The defense will likely focus less on proving the McAlberts kill John O’Keefe and more on proving that Karen Read could not have killed John O’Keefe. I believe that the jurors who remained deadlocked on the manslaughter charge believed that by acquitting Karen Read they were convicting the McAlberts, but the two are not mutually exclusive. The McAlberts are not on trial, and there is a world in which there is not enough evidence to convict Karen Read or the McAlberts. We all believe they did it, but proving that beyond a reasonable doubt is very different.
In the anti-Karen Read Facebook group, which is admined by a woman named Karen Yax who last year lost a lawsuit in which she was sued for libel after wrongly accusing an innocent woman in Mississippi, the members are trying to help Adam Lally figure out a way to convict Read this time around. A legal genius by the name of Kenny Weeks has some pointers for Lally.
I completely agree Kenny!
- The Commonwealth should absolutely not intentionally show inverted Sally port garage video designed to fool the jury.
- The Commonwealth should probably get a real accident reconstruction expert to prove that John O’Keefe was hit by a car instead of community college graduate Joseph Paul, who made an absolute fool of both himself and the CW’s entire case.
- The CW should definitely do an analysis of Karen Read’s tail light at various times to prove that nothing could’ve been planted.
- Chloe should absolutely be presented to prove that she wasn’t killed and was in fact rehomed to an anonymous person in Vermont.
- The CW should definitely have 100 people drive down Oakdale Street and see if their Apple Health data shows them ascending and descending 3 flights of stairs in order to prove that Nicholas Guarino’s explanation for John O’Keefe’s phone doing that is accurate. They should also have 100 people make love to their wife on top of their iPhone while receiving a call and see if they “butt answer” it. Then they should have 100 people go to sleep next to their iPhone and see if they butt dial anyone. Then they should go through 100 people’s call logs and see how many times deleted phone calls that were never actually deleted appear. Then they should see how many times unanswered phone calls came up as answered.
For a long time I believed that none of these people actually believe Karen Read is guilty, because no one could be that stupid. Clearly I was wrong. Kenny’s post shows that these people believe that the Commonwealth withheld all this critical evidence that could’ve proven Read’s guilt.
But I have bad news for Kenny – Joseph Paul and Nicholas Guarino are the closest thing they can get to “experts” who will go along with the CW’s lies.
No expert would cosign on the idea that the cuts on John’s arm came from hitting a smooth tail light that shattered into 45 pieces, none of which were found by Canton Police searching with a leaf blower in broad daylight.
No expert would agree that after being struck by the tail light in his arm John’s body catapulted, rotated in midair, landed with his head on the curb, and then bounced 10 feet onto the lawn.
So you’re gonna have to settle for Joseph Paul in round 2.
If these people were smart they would ask themselves WHY the Commonwealth played inverted Sally port garage video. They’d ask themselves WHY Joseph Paul was the best they could come up with. They’d ask themselves WHY with their unlimited resources the Commonwealth didn’t put together some sort of video showing what they believed happened to John O’Keefe. They would’ve asked themselves WHY the Commonwealth didn’t hire the ARCCA experts. They’d ask themselves WHY they didn’t bring in Chloe’s new owner to testify, in order to destroy the suggestions that Chloe is dead. They would’ve asked themselves WHY Trooper Guarino didn’t do what I did and drive down Oakdale Street with an iPhone see if it registered him going up and down 3 flights of stairs. They would’ve asked themselves WHY the Commonwealth didn’t demonstrate how easy it is to butt dial, butt answer, and have your extracted cell phone data all come out incorrect.
But these people aren’t smart, and that is what the Commonwealth is counting on. They want dumb people who don’t ask any questions to blindly believe their insane conspiracy theory that the laws of physics ceased to exist in the town of Canton on the night John O’Keefe was murdered.
A lot of these people are actually very close to getting it. For instance, Rosanna Tetreault pointed out how shady it was that Brian Albert didn’t come outside, and how Jennifer McCabe’s body language and behavior at trial didn’t help the cause.
I got bad news Rosanna – for the next trial Brian Albert will still have stayed in his house that morning, and Jennifer McCabe will still be an unlikeable wench.
They’re also proposing that Lally suggest that John was eaten by a possum.
Sorry guys, but Joseph Paul is gonna be a problem if you take that route.
They all seem to agree that the cops completely botched this investigation.
You’re so close Elijah! Now ask yourself WHY they botched the murder investigation of a cop? Why did they do a more thorough job investigating John O’Keefe’s murder than some random bum? Almost as if a thorough investigation would’ve led to completely different suspects.
They’re also counting on Lally to do better next time.

We also agree that the Sullivan sisters were a waste of time, as were all the random people at the Waterfall and CF McCarthy’s. Ya know, because they all testified that things between John and Karen seemed fine, yet the CW wants you to believe that during the car ride over Karen transformed into a blood thirsty murderer.
Oh, and they wanna put me on the stand too!
Please, please, PLEASE put me on the stand!! There’s a reason the CW filed a motion to prevent me from even being mentioned in this trial. I’m way too convincing.

I once again completely agree! Why wouldn’t they do this? The McAlberts promised us they would! Almost as if Karen Read has no such history, which makes it impossible to believe she would throw her life away by intentionally killing a cop outside the home of another cop.
Laura from Lexington, Kentucky is even volunteering her 6’2″ son to prove that John got hit by a Lexus LX 570.
She cracked the case! It’s just so simple – John was hitchhiking in a blizzard and had his back to Karen Read’s car when she hit his arm with her tail light going 24 mph in just 62 feet, then his body teleported two feet to the left causing his head to be struck by the spoiler which left a 3 inch laceration in the back of his head. Someone get this to Joseph Paul stat!
Actually, scratch that – Katelyn Finch wants to fire Joseph Paul and get a reconstruction team to prove that after having his hitchhiking arm shatter the tail light into 45 pieces John O’Keefe used the powers of teleportation to place himself directly behind the vehicle which launched his body 30 feet into the air and caused his cell phone to land directly underneath his body.
Yes, please Katelyn, go find a team of experts that will cosign that and call Michael Morrissey as quickly as you can!

It’s just that simple. He hit his head on the hydrant, even though he was standing behind it, and it launched his body 30 feet. Just keep throwing theories like this out there and eventually a jury will buy it.
