David Bienick from WCVB did an interview two days ago with Courtney Proctor and Elizabeth Proctor as part of their Hail Mary PR campaign, and it didn’t go as planned. You know it’s bad when you have a crying woman as your cover photo and get ratioed this bad with laughing emojis:

Literally no one is buying her bullshit. These have to be the most tone deaf people on the planet. Michael Proctor’s reputation is not salvageable. Nothing these people say is interesting or adds anything new. It’s all just the same bullshit – “He was a great detective who said regrettable things on a his personal phone that he never thought would be made public, and was only made public because the dastardly Karen Read teamed up with the corrupt US Attorney’s Office to pick on poor Michael Proctor.”
The real loser here is David Bienick for getting access to these two clowns and then not asking any real questions.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard a more worthless question from a reporter than this gem from Bienick:
“Is there any doubt in your mind that Michael Proctor might have framed Karen Read?”
What the hell do you think they’re gonna say to that? “Yea, actually, now that you mention it he might’ve framed her.” These are his two biggest enablers, and they chose WCVB for a reason – because WCVB’s legal analyst is Brian Albert’s attorney Greg Henning. Bienick is the same guy who asked me after I was arrested if I was making $5 million a year. Imagine watching a journalist get arrested for journalism, and the first thing you wanna ask him is how much money he makes? Get a new job dude.
Here are a couple questions Bienick would’ve asked if he was a real reporter:
- Courtney, you acted as an intermediary between Julie Albert and Michael Proctor. She offered a gift to Michael on the day Karen Read was arrested, and you conveyed that message to your brother. Do you think that was ethical?
- Elizabeth, you’ve been accused of calling the workplaces of Karen Read supporters who voiced criticism of your husband online. Do you believe that was appropriate? The same thing has allegedly happened to you because of Turtleboy. Why are you a victim, and the people whose employer you called are not victims?
- Courtney, you texted your brother and expressed your desire that Karen Read kill herself so the O’Keefe’s wouldn’t have to endure a trial. Do you really want her to kill herself? Do you think that is an insensitive thing for someone to write to the lead detective investigating Karen Read?

But he didn’t ask anything like that. Instead he gave them a chance to sit there and victimize themselves while invoking their children:
“That’s sort of what breaks me, is when I see the kids playing and so happy, and they have no idea that their parents’ world is crumbling.”
A good followup to that would’ve been, “are you worried about how you’re going to explain your husband’s text messages to your children when they’re older?”
I was separated from my children for 60 days for a crime I did not commit – a pain Liz Proctor has never had to experience – for charges that were dropped the day I got out. I was charged in the first place because this woman invoked her children to a grand jury, and falsely claimed that I was trying to kidnap them. If I didn’t have initial charges based on these lies, then I wouldn’t have had bail to revoke in the first place. And she has the nerve to sit there and cry about how her children have no idea about the mess that their father, and their father alone, has gotten the family into?
A real woman would divorce Michael Proctor, but not Elizabeth. She enables him instead, like she did with his messages:
“The evidence pointed to this woman killing a fellow Boston Police Officer. He was angry, he was upset by that. So I understand the need that he had to vent to friends, whether it was appropriate or not.”
How does Liz explain how Michael Proctor’s “anger” over a woman being charged with killing a cop Proctor never met, made him so upset 6 months later that he texted his superiors and told them he was looking for naked pictures of Karen Read in her phone? How did his righteous anger over the death of John O’Keefe lead to him commenting that Read had no ass? Was sexually objectifying her and making fun of her medical conditions part of the grieving process? Does he does this for every homicide, or just when the victims are strangers who happen to be cops?
What would actually make sense was that Proctor personally hated Karen Read so much because of his personal connection to the McAlberts, who Read was blaming for the murder within days of John’s death.
Then there was this gem:
They’ve received rocks thrown in their yards and voicemails like this:
“I’m gonna be your kids new Mommy and I’m taking your kids and taking your dogs.”
Except she didn’t actually play the voicemail. She just claims she got a voicemail that said that, and somehow her detective husband couldn’t trace the call. If that had actually happened then Lizzie Proctor would be blasting it for the world to hear so she could soak in the currency of victimhood that she uses as a shield.
She also threw this debunked allegation out there:
“It seems like Karen Read and Aidan have been conspiring and colluding.”
Except a grand jury was convened on March 27, 2024, every single piece of “evidence” they had was given to the GJ, the defense didn’t get to respond, and they still didn’t think it met the extremely low bar of probable cause. Prosecutors were alleging a conspiracy between an indicted murder defendant, and a man indicted for 16 counts of felony witness intimidation. They had access to my bank records, my car payments, Bill and Nathan Read’s car payments, my cell phone records, and Karen Read’s cell phone records.
And the Grand Jury still chose not to indict. It “seems” like there is ZERO EVIDENCE of any conspiracy or collusion between Karen Read and Turtleboy.
Bienick’s questions to Courtney Proctor were even more pathetic:
Again, if you’re a reporter who got an interview like this you have to ask the questions people want answers to. Like, explain this please:

Instead we got this:
“Did you ever pass any information about the investigation to the families (McAlberts)?”
What do you think she’s gonna say to that, David?
Instead of asking her about the content of the messages she was relaying between her brother and the McAlberts, we got this question instead:
“How did you feel when you were put in the role of the intermediary?”
As usual, Courtney used this as an opportunity to paint her family as the victim:
“I was shocked. It was such a stretch of trying to create these relationships that didn’t exist. It was done in such a disgusting and immoral way by leveraging my wedding photos, photos of my daughter’s birthday party. My relationship with the Alberts is several degrees removed anyway.”
It really wasn’t a stretch at all. I just went on her wide open Facebook page and saw dozens of pictures of Chris Albert’s family at Courtney Proctor’s house. Colin Albert was the ring bearer in the same wedding party as Michael Proctor.

They took pictures of their kids together, including Colin Albert.

They’re close enough that her and Michael’s mother referred to the Alberts as a “second family.”

Today is the worst day of Liz Proctor’s life because she is no longer married to a cop. Being a “blue family” was her entire identity, and now it’s gone forever. But at the end of the day this was a long time coming. Michael Proctor treated Karen Read like trash, not only in text messages, but when he arrested her on June 9, 2022. He wouldn’t let her put pants on, and told the Mansfield cop that she was crazy because she didn’t wanna be paraded in front of news cameras in what she was wearing.
There’s a reason the Proctors called WCVB. This is why.
