Maynard Gym Teacher Uses Remote Learning To Encourage Kids To Get Excused Absences From School To Engage In “Activism”

You might be asking yourself, what do gym teachers do during “remote learning?” In Maynard the answer is apparently brainwashing your kids into taking the day off from school to participate in “activism.” This is Physical Education teacher and field hockey coach Brenda Sullivan.

This is a lesson she gave out to kids this week for remote learning.

Check out the images they used for the students who wanted days off from school for protesting.

Gee, I wonder what that free spirit is planning on protesting? She looks like a Trump voter for sure. I bet if she wanted to get an excused absence from school to protest outside of Planned Parenthood her teachers would be thrilled with her civic engagement.

They even handed out a fill in the blank activism assignment.

Students should not get unexcused absences for protesting. If they did then kids could just make up any cause, any day, and use it as an excuse to get out of school. If you don’t think kids would exploit that then you don’t know much about high school kids. Parents should continue to watch out for this sort of thing, because they are going to shove it down your kid’s throats and hope they don’t get any pushback from you. Don’t let them.
