Media Blindly Believes Amanda Gorman’s Story Of Being Racially Profiled In Her Apartment Despite Refusal To Answer Questions
Remember Amanda Gorman?
She’s the Harvard grad and national junior poet laureate (whatever that is) who was chosen to read a poem at the inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. She attended the New Roads School in Santa Monica, which costs $42K a year to attend. Her work “focuses on issues of oppression, feminism, race, and marginalization, as well as the African diaspora.” Her poem received widespread acclaim, as we were told that this literary genius would be President by 2036 for her “powerful” poem.
Wasn't @TheAmandaGorman’s poem just stunning? She's promised to run for president in 2036 and I for one can't wait. pic.twitter.com/rahEClc6k2

But the poem itself was nothing more than meaningless words that she, like most poets, tried to make sound more enlightened than they actually are by moving her arms around a lot and emphasizing some syllables louder than others. Here’s part of the actual words of the speech. Saying them out loud without moving your arms around or adding unnecessary emphasis, and you’ll see that this is quite possibly the least talented person in America.
“When day comes we ask ourselves, where can we find light in this never-ending shade? The loss we carry, a sea we must wade. We’ve braved the belly of the beast. We’ve learned that quiet isn’t always peace. And the norms and notions of what just is, Isn’t always just-ice. Somehow we’ve weathered and witnessed a nation that isn’t broken, but simply unfinished. We the successors of a country and a time where a skinny Black girl descended from slaves and raised by a single mother, can dream of becoming president, only to find herself reciting for one.”
There is literally not talent at all required to write that. But because she checks several diversity boxes, and most importantly is liberal, we must all accept that this is in fact one of the great literary minds of our generation.
Since then Amanda Gorman was chosen to deliver a poem at the Super Bowl, has gotten a modeling gig, and her two previously stagnant books are now national best sellers. She’s done quite well for herself.
But what narcissists like this really crave is attention. And since the Super Bowl no one is really talking about her anymore. Then suddenly this weekend this happened:
NPR: To millions of people around the world, the young poet Amanda Gorman represents hope, change and the promise of a better America. But to a security guard on Friday night, the young African American woman represented a potential threat to public safety. The Harvard-educated Gorman, who won wide acclaim with her inauguration poem urging the nation to confront the injustices of the past and work to create a better future, says she was tailed by a security guard on her walk home. Gorman, who lives in Los Angeles, wrote on Twitter that as she approached her building, the guard demanded to know if she lived there. “You look suspicious,” he allegedly said.
“I showed my keys & buzzed myself into my building,” the 22-year-old Gorman wrote. “He left, no apology. This is the reality of black girls: One day you’re called an icon, the next day, a threat.
“In a sense, he was right,” the former National Youth Poet Laureate added. “I AM A THREAT: a threat to injustice, to inequality, to ignorance. Anyone who speaks the truth and walks with hope is an obvious and fatal danger to the powers that be.”
Of course the media blindly believed that this happened without asking any questions, because they have learned nothing from Jussie Smollett. Not once in that NPR story did they ask where this occurred, why it happened, or who the security guard was. Not once did they use the word “allegedly.” It happened because she said it did. Period. All that really mattered was that she “represents hope, change and the promise of a better America.”
Now shut up and believe her. It’s really hard being an untalented 23 year old millionaire Harvard grad who never would’ve gotten the opportunities in life that she’s had, were it not for her racial and gender identity, and her privileged upbringing at an elite private school.
You would think the LA Times would look into this more, considering it happened in their city and they have the resources to find out where she lives. They did try to find out where she lived but to no avail.
Gorman, 22, who lives in Los Angeles but did not specify where the incident occurred, wrote on Twitter late Friday that the guard had “tailed” her as she walked home, then asked if she in fact lived in her building. “You look suspicious,” the guard said, according to Gorman. Gorman didn’t immediately return a message sent through her website seeking comment.
She won’t speak to the far left LA Times? Why not? Perhaps it’s because they might actually ask questions and find out that this story is most likely completely made up. By posting on IG and Twitter she controls the narrative, and she got exactly the kind of response she wanted, which happens to be the same response Jussie Smollett got.
Amanda Gorman, the youngest inaugural poet in U.S. history, said the recent incident of racism and discrimination she experienced highlights ever-present danger.

What happened to @TheAmandaGorman occurs often.
Show up. Stand up. Speak out. Call out racism & injustice everywhere.
Glad she made it home safely. https://t.co/Yg4sWifrmd

I am so sorry this is how Black Americans are treated and I am so sorry you were victimized by this racism.

Don’t worry, they’ll fall for the next one too. Most of them don’t actually believe it either, or at the very least haven’t put any thought into it. They just see something that aligns with their narrative that America is a very bad, and very racist country, and they take it at face value. If you question anything then you’re a Q Anon conspiracy theorist. Those are the rules now.
Amanda Gorman is a narcissist who refers to herself an “icon.”
She’s a millionaire who demeaned an unnamed, and likely imaginary lowly paid security guard for doing his job and asking if she lived in the building he is paid to monitor. There is a 0.0% chance he (who probably isn’t real) told her that she looked suspicious. Had he done so he’d be fired by now. But the followup tweet was the most important and narcissistic thing she did.
She’s not backing down guys! That security guard tried to crush her spirits but it only emboldened her for the fight ahead. America is a VERY racist country, but thanks to freedom fighters taking on racists one iambic pentameter at time, the future looks bright. We just have to keep buying their books, praising them in their gated communities, and most importantly blindly believing everything icons like Amanda Gorman say. She’s a threat to racists everywhere. Fear her. Praise her. Pay her.
