A disturbing video from from Fairgrounds Middle School in Nashua, depicting an unprovoked attack on a student by another student, has been getting thousands of shares on Facebook today. Watch.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – bullying is the most overused word in the English language. We use it now whenever we see anyone getting hurt. This is not bullying, this is a felony. The child who perpetrated the crime, along with the child filming it, should be arrested. Whoever was holding the camera knew an attack was about to take place and coordinated filming with the attacker.
The problem is that we’re living in an era where social justice warriors have been pushing this dangerous nonsense that we should be suspending kids less, especially when they are students of color. We’ve seen protests in many cities from adults because suspension rates are too high. The result is that violent offenders like this get to remain in schools, which directly endangers victims like the one in the video.
I do have a hard time believing that he went to the school, the superintendent, and the Nashua Police, with this video and their response was, “she needs to fight back or move to a different school district.” Actually I guarantee that never, ever happened. So Dad should stick to the facts because the video speaks enough as it is. Tall tales only distract from the importance of correcting this problem. And the problem is that public schools do not suspend enough kids. We shouldn’t be looking to reduce suspension rates, we should be looking to increase them, regardless of race or ethnicity.
If you’re going to fight, then fight. And do it outside of school. If you’re going to fight, then fight. And do it outside of school. That wasn’t a fight, it was a human being with no morals trying to inflict pain on another child who didn’t have a chance to fight back because she was dog walked from behind and pummeled for several seconds before a teacher jumped in.
If that were my kid who committed the crime they would be pulled out of school immediately. School is for kids who don’t behave like wild animals. But of course this child probably was raised by losers who never disciplined her, glorified ratchet behavior, and gave her whatever she wanted regardless of her behavior. They are the real problem here, and should be named. It’s time to start holding parents accountable when their poor parenting affects innocent people.
We’d love to know who this girl’s parents are and even who the girl is. Let us know if you know who she belongs to. There were some rumors on the post.
But until confirmed they’re just rumors. Kind of twisted to go out of your way to hit the laughing emoji repeatedly when you see a video like that though. We’ve all hit the wrong emoji button, but to do it over and over again is a conscious choice. Message us at Clarence Woods Emerson on Facebook or email firstname.lastname@example.org. MVTB is dying for confirmation.
