Pittsfield High School Dean Arrested By Feds For Trafficking Cocaine Is A BLM Organizer, Posts Tik Toks With Students

Lavante was a media darling and organizer for BLM protests in Berkshire County during the summer of 2020. He knew all the right buzzwords to say and got meetings with the police chief.

He parlayed that into a job at Pittsfield High School as a Dean of Students.

Berkshire County is not a diverse area, so the hiring of a local, college educated man of color was big DEI points for Pittsfield High School.

But that all came crashing down this week when the US Attorney’s Office announced that they had arrested him and another guy for cocaine trafficking.

Two Pittsfield men, including the Dean of Pittsfield High School, have been arrested and charged today for allegedly conspiring to traffic large quantities of cocaine in Western Massachusetts. Lavante Wiggins, 30, of Pittsfield and Theodore Warren, a/k/a “Monty,” 42, also of Pittsfield, were charged with one count each of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. The defendants were arrested this morning and released on conditions following an initial appearance in federal court in Springfield this afternoon.

According to the charging documents, Wiggins, the Dean of Students at Pittsfield High School, operated a drug trafficking organization (DTO) that distributed large amounts of cocaine in and around the Pittsfield area. It is alleged that Warren is a trusted member of the DTO who serves as a runner for Wiggins. According to the charging documents, in August 2024, Wiggins expressed concern that he was under investigation and that he would send Warren to complete drug sales and deliver cocaine. It is alleged that one of Wiggins’ customers amassed a debt of more than $34,000 for cocaine that Wiggins provided on credit. It is further alleged that Wiggins and Warren then went about collecting on that debt while continuing to supply large amounts of cocaine to that customer. Specifically, Wiggins allegedly directed Warren to distribute cocaine to that customer on four separate occasions between September and December 2024: approximately 91 grams of cocaine on Sept. 10, 2024; approximately 100 grams of cocaine on Oct. 14, 2024; 125 grams of cocaine on Oct. 31, 2024; and 150 grams of cocaine on Dec. 10, 2024.

The charge of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute cocaine provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, up to a lifetime of supervised release and a fine of up to $1 million. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes which govern the determination of a sentence in a criminal case.

United States Attorney Joshua S. Levy and Jodi Cohen, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Boston Division made the announcement today. Valuable assistance was provided by the Holyoke, Springfield, Chicopee, West Springfield, Easthampton and Pittsfield Police Departments; Berkshire, Hampden and Franklin County Sherriff’s Offices; Massachusetts State Police; and the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Neil L. Desroches, Chief of the Springfield Branch Unit, is prosecuting the case.

First of all, this guy has to be the dumbest coke trafficker ever. He gave some guy $34K worth of cocaine, got nothing back, and continued to front the guy more product. I’ve never dealt large amounts of drugs before, but even I know that’s a big no-no. When Kennard said he “lost” the stash in Season 4 of The Wire Namond’s ratchet Mom told him he had to take care of it. But he didn’t have The Game in him like his old man Wee-bay, so Michael had to slap Kennard around for him.

Rule #1 of drug dealing – if you lose the stash, even if you’re robbed or the po-lease take it from you, you still owe the debt. And if you can’t pay the debt, you get hurt. That’s how Old Face Andre ended up in a vacant. But Lavante Wiggins is not about that life. At least not THAT part of the life. He likes being a coke dealer because he gets to buy cool cars and act like a hoodrat.

But when it comes to doing the hard work that makes being a drug kingpin uncomfortable, Lavante Wiggins is Pittsfield’s Namond Brice. He guy got beat for $34K, but because he moonlights as a high school administrator who couldn’t afford to get his hands dirty, he just fronted the guy some more.

To make matters even more embarrassing for Wiggins, the guy who beat him for $34K ended up being the snitch that did him in. In other words, the cops caught the informant with the drugs that Wiggins fronted to him, and then offered him a deal if he got Wiggins to give him more drugs. Instead of being suspicious of the guy who took that much money from him Wiggins just kept giving him more cocaine, like the absolute moron that he is.

This isn’t Lavante’s first charge though. As a matter of fact he was charged 2 DAYS BEFORE the feds got him on drug trafficking charges on charges of driving an uninsured, unregistered 2023 Maserati Levante with a suspended license. He was also charged in September with the same crime.

Those cars go for $90K minimum.

But those are just his charges in Pittsfield District Court. He also has a 2022 charge in Southern Berkshire District Court (Great Barrington) for driving his BMW without a license.

In 2021 he was charged with the same crime in Chicopee District Court.

That’s four times he was arrested for the same crime while he was a high school administrator. He also had a 2017 trespassing charge in Great Barrington, to which he admitted sufficient facts and took a CWOF.

Because a CWOF would not come up in the system (it gets dismissed like it never happened if you go a year without being charged with a new crime) it didn’t come up on a CORI background check.

According to the US Attorney’s Office Wiggins expressed concern to Warren that he was under federal investigation in August. Wiggins allegedly told Warren that “one of the police officers who ‘works’ for him told him his name has been coming up with law enforcement.” Pittsfield Police Chief Thomas Dawley (who wasn’t the chief in 2020 when Wiggins was meeting with him over BLM stuff) denies that any of his cops tipped off Wiggins:

“I don’t have any reason to believe right now that any of my officers were involved in the drug conspiracy with Mr. Wiggins,” Dawley said. 

First of all, I don’t believe that. Why are the feds going after some shitbag drug dealer from a part of the state no one cares about? They’d only do that if they didn’t trust the local police.

Secondly, this makes Wiggins even dumber. He knew in August that he was under federal investigation, he knew that someone he fronted $34K worth of cocaine to claims to have gotten beat for the stash, and he still kept operating his business during the school year like nothing had changed.

Wiggins doesn’t appear to have ever been a real teacher, yet somehow had become an administrator by the age of 26. He had a professional license as a dance teacher, but that license expired in August of 2024. But he parlayed his racial identity and played off that “white guilt” to enrich himself – something the gangster son of the CEO of the former Worcester social justice nonprofit Mosaic Cultural Complex explained so eloquently in a 2016 Turtleboy article:

Don’t be wasting your time killing other drug dealers over territory. Just start learning all the social justice buzzwords and then sit back and watch the grant money come in from dumb white people, looking to alleviate the guilt they feel every day from waking up and being white.

Lavante knew JUST how to do that. He doesn’t use his guns or kill people, because that would make him a real gangsta. He just sells coke while pretending to be a civil rights leader because there’s more legitimate ways to make money that way. Just not enough to own a $95K car.

Wiggins is always posting about how important it is to have educators like him because black kids will drop out of school if he’s not there with the “true beauty of melanin.”

He wears all sorts of “equality” shirts to school, and does the Wakanda hand signs with students.

He’s not like the other teachers, he’s the cool teacher. Ya know, the one who posts on a public TikTok account about how special he is for becoming a “black educator,” that students comment on.

We get it dude – you’re black and you got a teaching job. You wanna show the world that black kids can have role models in education so they can aspire to be something great, instead of selling cocaine. But the problem is that you kept selling coke on the side and got nabbed by the feds, so now your whole shtick is down the drain.

Always be weary of teachers who try to hard to be the “cool teacher.” And don’t trust any of them who do Tik Toks with students, which is completely inappropriate to do, especially when you’re a coke dealer.

Peak cringe.

Lavante also has two kids, including a son who just turned 1. He’s constantly posting on social media about what a great father he is, and talking trash about men who don’t take care of their kids.

He’s now facing 20 years in federal prison. He had a comfortable, well paying job that would allow his children to be cared for until they were adults. But while he was virtue signaling on Twitter and shitting on other Dads for not being around, he was engaging in criminal behavior that he knew would take him away from his children.

Meanwhile his baby momma, who knows full well that her partner is a drug dealer who constantly gets arrested for driving without a license, is running a daycare while virtue signaling about what a great partner Lavante is.

He has his defenders though.

Actually, most people resist the urge to become coke dealers, especially after they hit the DEI jackpot and land a good paying job they’re completely unqualified for.
