Telegram And Gazette Steals Story About Former Holden Principal After Being Tagged On Twitter, Threatens Us With Lawyers

On Sunday afternoon TB Daily News first reported the news that former Holden Elementary School Principal Mark Aucoin was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of child pornography. We were able to do this because over the years we’ve established our reputation and consequently police sources feel comfortable coming to us with information. After getting a tip on Friday I went to the police station on Saturday, spoke with the detective on the case and got an official press release sent to me on Sunday morning. I interviewed witnesses who saw it all go down, and I did background research into his mysterious termination in 2014. It was a story that needed to be told because Mark Aucoin has worked with children for 30 years and lives behind an elementary school today.

I knew the mainstream media would try to steal this story and pass it off as their own, which is why I specifically asked our social media team to tag Masslive, the Telegram, and the only Worcester Magazine employee left standing – Bill Shaner.

I wanted to be able to document that not only did we break this story, we also alerted the local media. George Barnes from the Telegram read our story, and after doing that he went and got the police report and court documents, so that way he could pretend like he just randomly came across this story on his own and wrote about it. Masslive has since written about it and used the Telegram as a source. Once bigger media outlets begin to catch wind of it they will do the same.

The irony here is that they go so far out of their way to pretend that we’re not real news, yet they use us for all of their stories. Remarkably people actually trust them, as can be seen from some commentary when the link was shared in a local Facebook group.

First of all, April Gagnon – will you marry me?

Secondly, Marieke Peleman is everything that is wrong with people today. According to Willoghby Agnes this woman goes to my church, and quite frankly people like her are the reason I’ve previously contemplated giving up catholicism. That and all the cover up of sex with altar boys.

“Don’t repeat anything by Turtleboy Sports.”

Funny, because the Telegram and Gazette clearly reads and repeats our work, which I guess now makes it believable.

“Obnoxious individual. Google him instead of anyone he reports on.”

Marieke, I think I can safely say without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus hates you. Go ahead and Google me. You’ll find that I’m a law abiding, taxpaying father who consistently advocates for victims of domestic violence, cute puppies, teachers, police officers, and abused children. You’ll also find links to stories about court cases I’ve won against vile people I’ve proudly exposed.

She wasn’t the only one looking for “reputable” news sources.

  1. There is a “reputable” news source writing about it. It’s called TB Daily News. You might recognize us from the Boston Globe when they credited us with exposing unprecedented corruption in the State Police. Ask former Colonel Richard McKeon if he thinks we’re credible. Or Lorrayna Calle, Kylie Kirkpatrick, Landon Steele, or the long list of other people whose reign of terror has come to an end as a result of our blogs.
  2. It’s really not “peculiar” why there wasn’t a local news story at the time. The reason is because they needed 24 hours to steal our work and pass if off as their own.

What’s also ironic about this is that the Telegram hired their lawyers to send me a cease and desist letter last week for allegedly stealing their content:

Turtleboysports.com Cease & Desist 1-24-20

This is the blog in question. It was a blog from New Years Eve about a West Brookfield mother who left her children at home all day and previously appeared on Dr. Phil because she let a gypsy medium dictate her life. We didn’t use any of their images. We do quote and link the Turtlegram article in our blog, and then comment afterwards about their story. This is what’s known as “fair use.” Unlike the Telegram we actually cite their work when we write stories. It’s also further proof that Editor Dave Nordman reads TB Daily News every day, because he’s the one who prompted this. Stay mad Dave.
