On Wednesday in court a woman who has never appeared at Karen Read’s trial sat directly behind Jackie Dugal and John O’Keefe’s mother.
Her name is MaryBeth Frisoli, and she is one of John’s ex-girlfriends who remained friendly with him over the years.
However, it’s kind of ironic that she would sit in the courtroom casting judgement on Karen Read for allegedly hitting John with her car, because in 2010 she was found guilty and sentenced to 6 months in prison for crashing into a motorcyclist and forcing his leg to be amputated after driving drunk while going the wrong way on the Neponset River Bridge in Quincy. Her lawyer in the case was Daniel O’Malley, who became a Stoughton judge in 2016 and was the man responsible for setting both Karen Read and Turtleboy’s bail.
At the time of the collision Frisoli worked as a juvenile probation officer. She told an off duty Boston cop at the scene “It’s OK. I’m on the job.” State Police testified that she was unsteady on her feet and that her speech was slurred during a field sobriety test. They said her attempts to recite the alphabet faltered at the letter V and that she ended her attempt with the sing-song flourish taught to children in school. Frisoli claimed to have had one beer, and a Marina Bay nightclub flier was found beneath her car’s windshield wiper.
Luckily for Frisoli the victim who lost his leg showed her mercy and kindness. In a dramatic courthouse scene, taking place in the same courtroom where she now sits in judgement of Karen Read, the victim hugged her at a hearing and offered his forgiveness.
Now she casts glares at Karen Read, who unlike her and Paul O’Keefe never hit anyone with her car while driving drunk.

Can we all admit that so much of this case & the people directly / indirectly related to it would all have decidedly different circumstances if alcohol wasn’t a factor? None of these things happen without booze. Alcoholism isn’t just a guy with a brown paper bag on the corner. It’s the inability to drink in safety ( your own or others) & it’s REAL.
No I disagree. These people are white trash who happened to live in Canton. They were the “popular” kids. And now they’re the grownup bullies of Canton. Who happened to be enmeshed and forever loyal to the click. Loyal to a degree that they’ve managed to pull off a massive conspiracy to frame Karen Read.
Cannot figure out how these trashy (in word and deed) and mostly uneducated people are in any positions of power. They seem to feel they are superior to others when their behavior is, at best, juvenile. At worst? Criminal, ruining countless lives.
It’s better to take each day one beer at a time, and take each beer one sip at a time.

The guy who lost his leg to this drunken clam, is the father of Emmanuel Lopes girlfriend. Lopes stole her car, got into an accident, and then proceeded to kill Weymouth cop Chesna. Auntie Beverly tried to sabotage that trial too
Everything you said was true except that Lopes stole Mary Cronins car. The 911 recording from that accident just before the murders, show Mary Cronin at the scene. Mary was letting Lopes drive her BMW as always, even though he didn’t have a license. The Cronin family is well connected and the Skank Mary was taken care of. The proud parents quickly replaced the BMW with a Mercedes Benz. True story that she was allowed to perjure herself in court saying she was at home. The 911 tapes have her in the car, she should have got some jail time.
