The same juror who told WBZ reporter Kristina Rex last week that the jury was 12-0 to acquit Karen Read on second degree murder and leaving the scene of an accident charges reached out to Rex again this week to express their displeasure with the Commonwealth. According to Rex, this juror reached out to both the defense AND the Commonwealth, to express their willingness to talk about the trial, but only heard back from the defense.
This is so typical of the Norfolk County DA’s Office. They do not seek truth or justice. They only seek victory. And that victory will not be achieved until Karen Read is lynched for a crime they are fully aware she did not commit.
The Commonwealth ignored this juror for the same reason they ignored Lucky Loughran for 18 months – they knew what they were going to say and didn’t wanna hear it. They have no interest in speaking with people who have information that proves Karen Read is innocent. Loughran was willing to tell anyone he spoke with that John O’Keefe’s body wasn’t on Brian Albert’s front lawn at 2:30 AM, and that he saw a Ford Edge parked there at 3 AM. The Commonwealth knew he plowed Fairview Road that night and would be a star witness for them if he saw John’s body. But just like the other 10 people inside that house he didn’t see a body, which is why they pretended he didn’t exist.
However, in this case the Commonwealth is actually on record stating that no jurors reached out to them. In their motion in opposition to the defense’s post-trial motion to dismiss they said that the allegation that a juror reached out to them to say that the vote was 12-0 to acquit “lacks any merit.”
They didn’t argue in that sentence that it was too late, or that case law precludes them from polling jurors weeks after a trial ended in a hung jury. They argued that it was baseless that a juror was reaching out and wanting to alert the court that they intended on acquitting Karen Read. We now know that was a lie.
Rex heard back tom NCDAO hack David Traub who told her that there are “parameters on the discussions” they can have “in a situation like this.”
In other words, they’re going to ignore it. They’ve never had a “situation like this” because they’ve never had a defendant they seek to convict more than Karen Read.
The fact that this juror is reaching out to Rex again tells me one thing – they’re pissed. They’re pissed because they spent 10 weeks volunteering and doing their civic duty, listening to Adam Lally bore them to sleep with “what if anything,” and now all their hard work was for nothing and the Commonwealth they served won’t even listen to them.
At this point the jurors might as well come forward and make a statement with their names on it. Go on camera and let the world know about this injustice. Tell the story about what really happened. Force the DA’s Office to do the right thing. A source who reached out to us and is in touch with another juror tells me that may change depending on how the August 9 hearing goes. But by that point it may be too late.
This should all fall back on the Judge. She never asked the Jury the right question, nor did she allow the defense to speak.
The DA may be playing games, but the Judge blew it IMO.
That’s because she’s in bed with them and wants to send KR to prison for life. REMOVE CANNONE FROM THE BENCH AND PUT HER ON TRIAL!!! F#$&ing C*NT
My two cents: The Judge has VERY obviously been doing the corrupt D.A.s bidding in this case.

The bigger question should be, that unless the judge can testify convincingly WHY this jury’s unanimous vote was somehow tainted & therefore must be upended, the 12-0 should stand.

Do you think there is a snowball’s chance in heck that the SJC is going to even hear this? I don’t. Part of the reason bad cops exist is that they’re not held accountable by anyone, including the courts.
The judge will just say nothing hear cause she wants the conviction of Karen read she has always wanted that and probed it by not asking the jury if they have come to a 12-0 vote on any of the convictions,lucky Karen has some excellent lawyers and argues the.point to just show how crooked this all is.
