Canton Coverup Part 431: McAlbert Spokesman Kevin Lenihan Sends Intimidating Emails To Juror, Threatens To Print Lies About Her Being Karen Read Plant If She Doesn’t Interview For His Book

This is Kevin Lenihan, better known as “Plevin.”

He claims to be dying from terminal cancer, and started a GoFundMe 6 years ago, claiming that he only had a 1% shot of living for 5 more years.

Luckily Kevin beat these overwhelming odds and is still with us, thanks to the $3K in donations he received.

Unless you are into YouTube and Twitter drama you probably never heard of this man before. He’s a 50 something year old man who lives in his parents’ attic in North Andover. However, I remember him from my early 20’s when Plevin used to be part owner of Leitrim’s – a bar in Worcester that people stop going to after they turn 22.

I remember him being the really creepy older guy who tried inviting much younger women up to his apartment, which was reportedly a disaster zone.

Kevin has a true crime YouTube channel that he often broadcasts with sunglasses on out of his parents’ attic, surrounded by wicker furniture and wood paneled walls.

Shortly after I began writing about the Karen Read case he latched onto it, posting a video that was fairly complimentary of my journalistic techniques, while addressing criticisms that others had.

After a Rizzitano cousin reached out to me on Twitter and told me I wasn’t a journalist because I published pictures of John’s arm, showing that he was chewed up by a dog, I responded with unking words. Plevin was a fan:

“This is not only funny, but gets to the heart of it. This turtle man is not afraid to offend. Sometimes it means he’s inappropriately offensive, but it also means that he’s willing to risk offense to get to the truth. Exactly what is needed in this society of ours.”

When I told the cousin to “kindly fuck off,” Plevin approved.

“Am I wrong for finding it humorous? There’s just something entertaining and funny about his delivery. Is it possibly inappropriate? I dunno, maybe. We’re talking about a grieving relative. I guess it’s also inappropriate that I laugh at this clip. F it. Laughter is good for the immune system.”

Plevin made it clear that he fully believed we should suspect the McAlberts, and that he was glad I contacted them directly to ask about their involvement.

“I myself would correct the O’Keefe family member more politely. But that’s not his style, and the bottom line is, he’s right here, or seems to be. And that’s a key thing. If you’re gonna be offensive, it helps to be right.”

“For a year they’ve bought into a narrative about how their family member died. They made Karen Read the target of their anger.”

“No doubt the O’Keefe family received a ton of support from the police community. So how does it feel to find out that they killed your son? The turtle is correct to point that out. The autopsy photo is a vital piece of information to make public. We’re way past the time when we can just trust the police.”

“The O’Keefe cousin is essentially saying trust the State police, trust the Canton Police, trust the DA.”

“So he (TB) calls the phones of several people who he suspects, and we SHOULD suspect, are involved in the coverup of a murder. It’s entertaining. I wouldn’t do this kind of thing, but I’m glad he does.”

Plevin fully admitted that John O’Keefe was beaten up inside the McAlbert’s house, and the evidence I reported was compelling.

“The case Aidan’s talking about is one he’s almost breaking by himself. Dead cop’s girlfriend has been charged with running him over and leaving him for dead. But there’s evidence that’s not the real story. And in fact, the cop O’Keefe went into a party inside the other cop’s house and was severely beat up. The evidence Turtleboy is reporting is pretty compelling.”

As he pointed out – we NEED a Turtleboy to report the truth.

But along the line I made some light criticism of Plevin after having him on my channel. This abruptly made him change his mind about Karen Read’s innocence, which is what always happens when people get upset with me personally.

Since then Plevin has given his small viewership many a “Plevinism” as he pretends to be the voice of reason, defending the McAlberts and constantly tweeting about how Turtleboy is actually a villain. During the trial he famously pointed out that Karen’s right tail light had missing pieces on it, not realizing that he was watching an inverted video, which meant he was talking about the left tail light.

 

Last week Plevin discovered the identity of a juror who had been dismissed and somehow obtained her non-public email. On October 20 he emailed her and asked to speak with her prior to the publication of his new book that nobody will buy.

“You might know of my channel.”

“If you followed me…”

I assure you Plevin, she did neither. She was very disturbed by getting this email though, and reached out to a third party who sent it to me. The juror responded by asking him how he got her information, since she has gone to great lengths not to be doxxed. She told him that she was very alarmed by his email, but made sure to mention her name in every he email he wrote, as if to remind her – “I know who you are.”

The message he was sending was clear – “I’m a very important person with a YouTube channel you’ve probably heard of, and I’m writing a book about the trial. If you don’t get back to me I’m gonna say whatever I want about you, so it’s in your best interest to come over to Daddy Plevin so I can “protect” you.”

When she told him she was alarmed Plevin wrote a much more accusatory email:

“I know a lot of what happened right before you were dismissed.”

Plevin gets all his “inside information” from the McAlberts. It appears as if they’ve given up her name to him and he’s attempting to intimidate her into speaking with him for his book.

“Some of this needs to be told.”

Why does Plevin get to decide what “needs” to be told?

“We have another trial coming up.”

We? Who is we?

“There are questions about how you got on the jury.”

Questions from who?

“Considering the passionate beliefs you seem to have held before being impaneled.”

How would he know anything about the beliefs this woman held before she was impaneled as a juror? It’s no secret that the 3 dismissed jurors all believed that Karen Read was innocent. Several of them made faces during the testimony of Michael Proctor, Trooper Paul, and Brian Albert. Proctor, Albert, and the O’Keefe’s all saw these facial reactions. The jurors all live in Norfolk County. All it would take is one McAlbert to recognize one of these jurors, see the faces they were making, and give them to trolls like Plevin to be doxxed, harassed, threatened, and intimidated.

The woman was disturbed by the emails and chose to stop responding, according to the source who gave me these screenshots. On his stream Plevin insisted that this woman was a criminal who should be arrested because she was a secret Turtleboy plant who tried to manipulate the jury. On the Live Show Saturday night I shared some of this information, including a screenshot of the email that had Plevin’s phone number on it. Plevin immediately wrote another threatening email to the woman.

“I will still protect you.”

This is what abusers do – pretend that they’re actually the only people who care about you.

He went on to accuse her of being a turtle rider who was very well aware of the Karen Read case. But like everything that people like him say, this is completely untrue. The source who is friends with the juror gave these screenshots to me with permission, showing that after she was picked for jury duty the woman said she chose NOT to lie to try to avoid jury duty. She said that she didn’t recognize a single name on the witness list and needed to be honest.

“…if she isn’t guilty.”

She said in confidence before the trial began that she had no opinion as to Karen Read’s guilty or innocence, and was going into it with an open mind.”

The juror told the friend that she’d never heard of John O’Toole (she didn’t even know his name), said that she hadn’t read or listened to anything about the case, and had no clue why people were holding signs outside as she crossed the street from the Registry of Deeds.

Plevin was sent lies about this woman by the McAlberts, he sent her vaguely threatening emails that repeatedly used her name, he contacted her on a private email to let her know that he could find her, and he tried to coerce him into speaking with her by threatening to write about her in his book if she didn’t. He accused her of things that were completely untrue, putting her in the position of having to speak with him to tell him the truth, or ignore him and allow him to print lies.

This is felony witness intimidation (jurors are covered under the statute), and Plevin should be charged. He won’t be, because he’s part of a protected class due to the fact that he doesn’t challenge powerful people. He protects them. So he’s allowed to do this.
