Worcester State Professor Writes Email To “Frightened, Angry, Depressed” Students Offering Shoulder To Cry Over Election Results
Donald Trump pulled a Grover Cleveland on Tuesday and became the second President elected to non-consecutive terms with an easy victory in both the electoral college and the popular vote. Predictably this has not gone over well with some people, including this woman:
Her name is Jackie Morrill, and as you can see, we can immediately figure out who she voted for just by looking at her. Jackie is a visiting professor at Worcester State University, and has spent most of her career working in academia.
In other words, she’s never had a real job where she’s had to work around real people who view the world differently from her. After taking the L on Tuesday night she woke up on Wednesday and wrote this ridiculous email to her students:
“I know that many of you are devastated by the outcome of the election.”
It’s no secret that I wanted Donald Trump to win, but even if he had lost I’d just move on with my life the next day. If you’re “devastated” by the outcome of an election you don’t need an email, you need a therapist.
“You may have stayed up all night, obsessively refreshing the AP map of taken states, like I did. You are probably exhausted, frightened, angry, depressed. And I anticipate that you will, if you haven’t already, cry today.”
I also stayed up all night refreshing the map, but I am not frightened, angry, or depressed. Nor would I be if Kamala Harris was elected. This woman sent this email to ALL of her students, because she hasn’t even CONSIDERED the fact that one of them might have voted for Donald Trump. That’s why she just assumes they are “frightened, angry, and depressed” and would need to cry today. To her, the idea that someone else could possibly vote for a person she doesn’t support is unfathomable.
“I hope that you have a shoulder to cry on, another voice to cry with, and a family of some kind to support you.”
And this is everything that is wrong with the world today. If you’re a grownup crying over the result of an election then you need another grownup to tell you to grow up and move on with your life. But again, the bigger issue here is that she would not have sent this out if Harris had won, because she only cares about the feelings of people who think exactly like she does. Everyone else is invisible to people like her, which is exactly why Trump won again.
“Please don’t hesitate to reach out, to speak to me during, before, or after class this week, and to seek out help from the counseling center. You are not alone.”
The counseling center? For grownups who are sad that one millionaire who they’ve never met lost to another millionaire they’ve never met. This is a public university. This is what your tax dollars are going towards.
There are thousands of stories like this floating around the Internet right now as communists like this have a full fledged meltdown. I’ve seen many point out that college educated people voted more for Harris, which is true. But that’s because colleges are filled with professors like Jackie Morrill who brainwash them into thinking that there are 85 genders and that white people are born racist. The fact of the matter is that on Tuesday the nation spoke and said they were sick of it, and these losers can’t handle it.
