State Trooper Terrence Kent became the third of three Kent brothers to join the Massachusetts State Police in 2017.
But it looks like that will be down to two, because Trooper Kent was indicted this week on charges of bribery and indecent assault and battery for an incident in Lexington, in which he is alleged to have solicited a sex act from a man in exchange for not towing his car. You’ll never guess who his attorney is:
A Massachusetts State Police trooper appeared in court and pleaded not guilty Thursday after being accused of proposing that he not have a driver’s car towed in Boston in exchange for a sex act. Trooper Terence Kent was arraigned on charges, brought by a grand jury, of bribery and indecent assault and battery in Middlesex Superior Court over an incident that allegedly took place in August.
Beyond that the incident was reported a couple of months after it allegedly took place, no new details were revealed about the case in court, where the judge agreed with prosecutors’ proposal that he be released without bail, on condition that he not have contact with the alleged victim. Kent’s next court date will be set at a subsequent hearing, in April. He was represented by David Yannetti, a prominent attorney who’s been representing Karen Read in her high-profile murder trial.
Kent was suspended without pay in November over what a state police representative said at the were “serious allegations” following accusations of sexual misconduct. Details about the allegations against Kent weren’t revealed at the time. But on Tuesday, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office and Lexington police shared that Kent was indicted by a grand jury on charges of bribery and indecent assault over an allegations from Aug. 24. That’s when Kent allegedly blocked a driver from leaving their parking spot on Soldiers Field Road in Brighton.
The driver asked Kent to move, but the trooper told him his registration and insurance had expired, meaning his vehicle needed to be towed, authorities said. The driver had concerns, so allegedly Kent proposed they meet him at a Lexington Department of Transportation facility where they could perform a sexual favor in exchange for not towing the vehicle.
“The defendant in this case allegedly used his position of power as a sworn police officer to commit a sexual assault. These allegations, if true, are a blatant violation of the public trust and his obligation to uphold high ethical standards and the values of the community. Today’s indictment is a reflection of our continued commitment to the highest level of accountability and transparency when it comes to those entrusted to protect public safety,” District Attorney Marian Ryan said in a statement.
We all like David Yannetti, but that doesn’t mean we’re always gonna like his clients. He gets paid to represent people charged with crimes, and he’s obviously very good at his job, so people are gonna call him when they’re in a jam. The irony here is that Yannetti is most famous for being part of a defense team exposing just how corrupt Kent’s employer is. And of all the lawyers he could’ve called, the state trooper who got caught abusing his power to get a BJ from a guy with an expired registration, hired David freaking Yannetti.
Wild.
It gets crazier though.
Trooper Kent is happily married to his nurse wife Kacy Gillis Kent, and they are raising three kids in their Marshfield home.
Kacy is notorious for posting pro-McAlbert propaganda in the Free Karen Read Facebook group, which is a completely unregulated cesspool that has nothing to do with supporting Karen Read. She also claims to be a member of the O’Keefe family.
She has posted that John’s niece and nephew wanted to testify against Karen Read, despite the fact that David Yannetti apologized to them for being forced to do so.
She thinks Chloe didn’t bite John because Michael Proctor claims to have swabbed his sweatshirt, which he sent to a lab in California and only came back with pig DNA.
Like many woman, Kacy just doesn’t like Karen because she smiles too much, therefore she has diagnosed Ms. Read as a cold and calculated sociopath.
She has baselessly accused Karen Read of faking a brain tumor – a documented medical condition first brought up by David Yannetti at her arraignment.
She says it’s OK that Brian Higgins and all the men were drinking and driving that night because they all weigh 100 pounds more than her.
She thinks that the Canton Police are a joke, but not the State Police. They’re serious police who send each other text messages about balloon knots and how to manipulate a medical examiner into giving them the cause of death that they want.
She claimed during the trial that John had broken up with Karen after the Aruba trip on New Years.
Shortly after that John and Karen’s text messages were entered into evidence in court, showing that John repeatedly invited Karen to Canton that night to drive him around and stay the weekend.
According to Kacy we have to ignore the science, which dictates that John O’Keefe’s injuries couldn’t have come from a car, and all the suspicious behavior of the McAlberts, because the family is choosing to bury their heads in the stand and believe the lies being told to them by the same people covering up OJO’s murder.
Paul O’Keefe is a drunken idiot who refuses to use his brain or think logically, therefore you have to believe Karen Read is guilty too.
She basically spews the same idiotic talking points that all the low IQ Twitter trolls do.
Hair on bumper – it was on the right rear quarter panel, they lived together, and it’s impossible for one hair to remain on a vehicle traveling 80 mile in a blizzard
Cocktail glass on bumper – doesn’t match the cocktail glass John had, and one piece of glass is not going to stay on a bumper for an 80 mile trip in a blizzard
She told 100 people she did it – No she didn’t
She told her Dad she struck something – she’s on video striking John O’Keefe’s Traverse
Voicemails – if she was guilty she would never leave him angry voicemails immediately after killing him
Changing story – Nothing has changed, and she always said she dropped him off and he went inside the house
Told Kerry John was dead at 5 AM – no she didn’t
Hitting on Higgins in John’s house – no one cares, this is a motive for Higgins
Deleted Ring camera footage – Proctor and Bukkake both testified that she didn’t after contacting Ring
Fed TB autopsy photos – the autopsy photos are the most obvious evidence that Karen Read didn’t hit OJO with her car
She’s apparently too stupid to realize that there was not a big chunk missing of taillight when she left Meadows Ave at 5 AM, and it certainly wasn’t missing 47 pieces. She also finds nothing strange about how the biggest pieces of taillight were found 3 weeks after the murder by Michael Proctor, who didn’t photograph it, and that these pieces were missed by the SERT team and all the other cops who drove by there and checked out the scene daily.
Before Trooper Paul took the stand she theorized that John hit his head on the curb or the fire hydrant.
Because all the other side does is just make shit up as they go along.
She thinks that if the police were actually framing Karen they’d throw John’s blood on her car.
Except Michael Proctor didn’t get his hands on her car until 12 hours after they found John’s body, and the solo cups with blood droplets weren’t lying around.
She’s an angry elf.

Several people I spoke with told me that she has deleted comments in the group in which she claimed that she believed Karen was guilty because her husband told her they have so much evidence against her. I have not seen those, but she is very active and vocal in that group.
Either way, the fact that the first lawyer this guy called was David Yannetti seems to indiciate to me that he’s soon to be the ex-husband of his woman. And the bottom line is, if you’re married to a corrupt cop who would rather be with a man than with you, then you probably shouldn’t be running your mouth on Facebook about how the State Police aren’t capable of corruption and you’re so much smarter than everyone else.
