Yesterday Canton Police Chief Helena Rafferty responded to the letter Attorney Mark Bederow sent her the week prior, in regards to Chris Albert illegally wiretapping anyone who walks by his pizza shop. Chief Rafferty did the appropriate thing and said that her department was conflicted due to the fact that Albert is a member of the board of selectmen, and thus is Rafferty’s boss. However, she simply passed the buck to another conflicted organization known as the Norfolk County DA’s Office.

Of course there is a 0.0% chance Michael Morrissey would ever enforce the law against a McAlbert. He also can’t have one of his ADA’s represent me as a victim, which is why he had to assign a special prosecutor when Jill Daniels and Jim Farris were charged with assault and battery against me. So Mark Bederow had to write him a letter putting him on notice that he needs to assign this investigation to another DA’s Office that isn’t conflicted.
letter to DA Morrissey 3.21.25It’s important to point out that this isn’t about me. Every single person who walks by that street and is having a private conversation with someone has no idea that Chris has two cameras not only filming them, but audio recording them as well.
All Canton residents have a right to be concerned about this illegal activity.

Unbeknownst to me, Julie Albert apparently wrote an email to the DA’s Office on August 25, 2023 – the day Michael Morrissey released his hostage video defending the honor of the McAlberts and making extrajudicial statements about their credibility. Former spokesman David Traub wrote Julie Albert an email back while he and Morrissey were filming the video, and included edits she asked for.

Not coincidentally, Morrissey read the statement “Colin Albert did not commit murder.” In fact, he mentioned Colin Albert more than any other witness in his statement, which we now know was influenced by Julie Albert contacting the DA’s Office while he was filming the hostage video.
Morrissey didn’t deny that Brian Higgins committed murder. He mentioned Colin Albert 4 times. He mentioned Brian Albert, Jennifer McCabe, Michael Proctor, and Matt McCabe once. He didn’t mention or defend any other “witnesses.”
Some have, without any evidence, pointed to 18-year-old Colin Albert, a nephew of the homeowner, and accused him of attacking John O’Keefe as he entered the home. But phone evidence shows O’Keefe never entered the home at all.
Testimony from witnesses tells us that 18-year-old Colin Albert had left his uncle’s home before John O’Keefe and Karen Read had arrived outside the residence.
There was no fight inside that home. John O’Keefe did not enter the home.
Colin Albert, the young man being vilified, was not present when Read’s vehicle and John O’Keefe arrived on the street. That is a false narrative.
Colin Albert did not commit murder. Jennifer McCabe, Matthew McCabe, Brian Albert…these people were not part of a conspiracy and certainly did not commit murder or any crime that night. They have been forthcoming with authorities, provided statements, and have not engaged in any cover up. They are not suspects in any crime – they are merely witnesses in the case.
This is not a coincidence. This was clearly influenced by Julie Albert’s last second email. They knew the statement was going to be issued and she wanted to make sure her son in particular was vouched for by the county’s most powerful law enforcement official.
Colin Albert was not interviewed by police until 18 months after John O’Keefe was killed, and was only questioned in regards to alleged witness intimidation. If John O’Keefe didn’t go inside the house then it wouldn’t matter if Colin Albert was there. He’d be no different than Brian Albert and the other party goers. But they have gone out of their way to insist that Colin was not there when John arrived, and he has done nothing to verify this.
Bederow also included in his letter the fact that he had “grave concerns” about the September 29, 2023 email from Morrissey’s burner account, in which he demanded an investigation into who alerted Turtleboy of Chris Albert’s failed attempt at obtaining a harassment prevention order. Bederow made sure to include the fact that David Yannetti announced in court yesterday that the defense was planning on introducing evidence at trial that Colin Albert was a third party suspect.

Detractors have suggested that the conspiracy involving John O’Keefe’s death is far fetched and ridiculous, but when you realize the amount of influence, power, and control the Alberts have in Canton, you’d be foolish not to believe they could get away with murder.
