Canton Coverup Part 546: Former Turtleboy Special Prosecutor Ken Mello Charged With Threatening To Stab Nurse

Former Special Prosecutor Ken Mello, who was hired by DA Michael Morrissey to prosecute Turtleboy for witness intimidation, was charged yesterday in Fall River District Court with threatening to do bodily harm to two healthcare workers who were helping him in the ER during a visit on March 7, 2026. A criminal complaint application was filed by Special State Police Officer Gilbert Lima on March 7, and a clerk found probable cause to charge him on April 22.
The police report states that while leaving the ER at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Mello threatened to stab his treating nurse Haley Johnson, yelling out loud, “How about I take a knife and stab you for 5 minutes” because he was unhappy with the medical treatment he received. According to another nurse named Amanda Case, Mello yelled that he should not be crossed because he is a lawyer, and that Johnson should be nothing more than a technician because he wouldn’t put her on a stretcher and bring him to his vehicle, and simply offered him a pillow for his wheelchair instead.
Ken Mello arrest report

Mello will likely claim that this statement was simply hyperbole, which would be incredibly ironic because he prosecuted a case (before being forced to recuse himself because he turned himself into a witness) in which hyperbolic, comedic, and sarcastic statements I made were intentionally misconstrued as threats, harassment, and witness intimidation. For instance, while arguing about why I should not have my phones returned to me, Mello claimed that I had made statements that there was blood in the pizza at D&E Pizza, which was harmful to Chris Albert.
Mello read dozens of comments like that at my arraignment, which were all taken out of context in order to make it look like I threatening and harassing witnesses. But at no point did I ask any witnesses, “How bout I take a knife and stab you for 5 minutes?”
Just a reminder that this was the man the DA decided to pay more than $100K to prosecute me, before getting himself removed, despite the fact that he has a long and documented history of court judgements against him and unpaid child support.

Mello’s primary source for evidence against me was convicted criminal Kate Peter, who still has open charges against her in Norfolk County.
On December 26, 2023, Mello argued that I was a dangerous person and should have my bail revoked because he falsely claimed that I pushed Lindsey Gaetani onto a couch and threatened her. We now know from her that he never made these specific allegations, and that Mello was simply interpreting my words in bad faith in order to have me incarcerated. Good thing I didn’t ask her I could stab her for 5 minutes. I’d still be in jail.
