Kylie Kirkpatrick Is Suing Me For Writing Factual Stories About Her Scams That Ended Up With Her Being Arrested And Charged With Felony Fraud
I was served this week with paperwork from Kylie Kirkpatrick, who is suing me in Napa County Superior Court (California) for defamation, over a series of articles I wrote exposing her more than 6 years ago.
Kylie Kirkpatrick lawsuitMany of you probably had no idea who Kylie was, but this was one of the bigger stories I published before Karen Read. Like Monica Cannon-Grant, Kylie was arrested and charged with several counts of felony fraud as a result of my reporting. She defrauded countless people and organizations that all stemmed around the lie that her 9 year old son Ryan Kyote donated his allowance ($74) to pay off school lunch debts for his classmates, who were allegedly not being fed at school because their parents owed money. The whole thing was a lie, and as a result she made a lot of money by seeking out attention from the media and politicians, while the community of Napa suffered from the negative blowback associated with not feeding children.
This lawsuit is a joke for several reasons. First of all, the statute of limitations for defamation in Massachusetts is 3 years, so she’s long past that. Secondly, everything I reported was factually true, well researched, and sourced. Thirdly, it’s not the proper venue, as I don’t do business in the State of California, and thus any claims should be filed in federal court.
Nevertheless, since Kylie wants attention, I’m gonna give it to her. I will be re-publishing each installment of the 7 part series in the upcoming week so that we can shame this disgraceful scam artist again. Everyone forgot about you Kylie, and when I wrote about you the first time my audience was much smaller. Now WAY more people are gonna find out what a degenerate scumbag you are. I will not be hiring any attorneys, it’s just gonna be me against you. And unlike you, I am armed with the truth on my side.
