Worcester Police Looking For First Responder Suicide Prevention Non-Profit Director Karen Solomon, Suspected Of Killing Police Officer Husband Kurt Solomon

Worcester Police put out a press release today asking for the public’s assistance in finding 58 year old Karen Solomon, regarding the death of a male at her residence. They pointed out that she has dark brown hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing pajama shorts and a tank top walking on foot towards Westcott Street. They also mentioned that she may be armed and dangerous. But according to sources we’ve spoken with, the dead male who was killed after having his throat slit is Karen Solomon’s husband Worcester Police Officer Kurt Solomon, and that she is the co-founder of a non-profit that specializes in honoring police officers who die by suicide.
In 2020 the Leicester Police Department made a Facebook post featuring Solomon after her non-profit First Help (AKA Blue Help) gave a donation to the department.

On their Facebook page First Help prominently features Karen Solomon for her work dealing with mental health treatment for first responders. Arbella Insurance also featured Solomon on their Facebook page in February when she gave a check to one of their employees for their work advocating for mental health awareness.

I used to live on Brookline Street, which is right down the street from Westcott Street. There is a heavily wooded area at the end of Wildwood Ave that goes on for miles between Goddard Memorial Drive and Mill Street, which I used to run in a lot. There are plenty of places to hide in there, and according to sources authorities believe she may be dead in those woods.
No other information is available at this time.
