Ashley St. Angelo’s Restraining Order Against Turtleboy Family Dismissed After Being Moved To Federal Court Away From Tyrant Judge Melissa Darigan
Breaking news – as a direct result of your donations child abusing transgender father Anthony “Ashley” St. Angelo has had his restraining order against my family thrown out in Rhode Island Federal Court.
All blogs about this dangerous predator will remain up, and free speech has been protected thanks to your donations. We raised over $14K to hire an attorney using GoFundMe before the account was removed and your donations were refunded. But we raised another $11K in days which I used to hire famed First Amendment Attorney Marc Randazza.
One of the first things Marc did was get the case moved to federal court and away from incompetent Providence Superior Court Judge Melissa Darigan, who had no business issuing this order in the first place. Ashley’s comically moronic attorney Edward Manning from East Providence attempted to stop us from moving the case to federal court, but failed miserably because he’s an idiot with terrible Google reviews and little online presence.
Ashley was since arrested on a warrant for leaving harassing and threatening voicemails with the Fitchburg Public Schools, in direct violation of the no contact order placed against him in Leominster District Court.
Judges like Melissa Darigan are dangerously incompetent. She enabled a child abusing predator to use her courtroom to stalk and harass his victims (my family) because she was too lazy to read the case in front of her. In open court she accused the Holden Police Department of lying, and took the word of a deranged child abuser over them.
Any judge who assumes a police department is lying because she’s butthurt over phone tag should not be a judge.
Since I never contacted Anthony St. Angelo, and he had no evidence of harassment, this was a very easy case for Darigan to dismiss. Instead she chose to drag it out and forced me to pay thousands of dollars in legal fees.
Judge Darigan told me that regardless of whether or not the plaintiff had any evidence myself and my ex would still be forced to travel to Rhode Island for hearings, despite having two young children and a lack of childcare. She also refused to hold the hearing virtually unless I paid for an attorney.
But worst of all Judge Darigan repeatedly asked that I contact Leominster District Court to drop the harassment protection order that protects our family from Ashley St. Angelo, as well as contacting the Fitchburg Police to drop the warrant out against Ashley.
She attempted to pressure me repeatedly into dropping all charges against Ashley St. Angelo and in return she would drop Ashley’s restraining order against my family. She also tried to get me to agree to give up my First Amendment rights by not posting about the case at all, and in particular she asked me not to write mean things about Ashley’s moronic attorney Edward Manning.
But since Ashley didn’t agree to the terms and wanted to get greedy I don’t have to abide by this unwritten agreement.
Judge Darigan also told me directly to “leave the lawyers out of it,” which she had no right to do, while acknowledging that she wasn’t happy that I had blogged about her.
Let this be a lesson to anyone who thinks it’s cute to come after me like this in the future. If you attempt to abuse the court system to remove factual content about you then I will just write about you more. I will not bow down, and I will pay any price to defend my right to speak publicly about you. I have an army behind me who is willing to donate to the cause because they believe free speech is important. And we will not back down to tyrant government stooges like Melissa Darigan from fake states like Rhode Island.
