News broke this week that former Stoughton Police Officer Matthew Farwell was arrested by federal authorities for his role in the double homicide death of Sandra Birchmore and her unborn baby. Farwell was the last person to see Birchmore alive, and was seen arriving at her apartment and then leaving 30 minutes later the day before his wife gave birth to their daughter.

Birchmore, who lived alone in Canton, was originally reported to have committed suicide after an “investigation” by Canton and State Police. Several of the police officers involved in the coverup of John O’Keefe’s murder were also involved in the Birchmore “suicide,” including:

• Trooper Matthew Dunne (handled the missing library footage)
• Lt. Detective John Fanning (Proctor’s boss, testified in defense of Proctor at multiple grand juries)
• Trooper Nicholas Guarino
• Canton Police Detective Kevin Albert
• Canton Lt. Michael Lank

All of them came to the conclusion that Birchmore committed suicide and took steps to make sure that Farwell was not treated as a suspect is normally treated. In fact, Farwell was upset that State Police even questioned him at all.

This is exactly how Brian Albert would’ve felt if Canton or State Police asked to look around his house. Cops aren’t supposed to look into other cops.

The suicide story didn’t smell right to investigative journalist Kirk “Podcast Jesus” Minihane, who did an extensive dive into the investigation on his Barstool Sports Podcast “The Case.” Birchmore allegedly killed herself D’Angelo Barksdale style:

Kirk and I discussed the crossover between the Read and Birchmore cases in a podcast recorded in May. I wrongly predicted that no one would ever be held accountable for Birchmore’s murder.

I hope that I am also wrong about no one being held responsible for John O’Keefe’s murder. The arrest of Matthew Farwell is great news for Karen Read and those who want REAL justice for John O’Keefe.

Dozens of people reached out to State Police investigators to alert them that they believed she would never kill herself, and that she was looking forward to being a mother. They were tipped off that Farwell allegedly had sex with her when she was just 15 and he was a supervising officer in Stoughton High School’s Explorer’s program. Farwell himself was groomed to be a groomer by his superior Robert Devine, who was in charge of the program.

Devine, Farwell’s brother William, and Abington Police Officer Josh Heal all had sexual relations with Birchmore. The fact that she was being treated as a sexual object they all could use and pass around was likely common knowledge in the halls of the Stoughton Police Department.

Many told Trooper Matthew Dunne and Lt. John Fanning about their suspicions about Farwell’s behavior once he found out Birchmore was pregnant.

In other words, State Police were alerted by several tipsters that Farwell had the motive to kill Birchmore, and was the last person to see her alive. Yet they did nothing to rule Farwell out as a suspect.

The case was quickly ruled a suicide by Canton Police and State Police assigned to the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office. This was largely because of a lack of forensic evidence from Farwell’s cell phone. According to Lt. Fanning’s report, Trooper Nicholas Guarino was given Farwell’s phone for a full data extraction, and neither Guarino or Fanning found any deleted messages between Farwell and Birchmore.

Guarino claims to be an expert in cell phone forensics, and he is fully aware that Cellebrite can extract any deleted text messages. His failure to extract and read the messages wasn’t incompetence, it was an intentional obstruction of justice designed to protect a child rapist and murderer because of his position as a police officer. It was also part of a pattern, as Guarino also didn’t “find” all of Jennifer McCabe’s deleted phone calls and suspicious Google searches when he extracted her phone.

Farwell grew up in Stoughton – the same town Sgt. Bukkake grew up in. They were two years apart in school. Almost every cop involved in the Birchmore and Read cases grew up in or around Canton, including Fanning (Stoughton) and Guarino (Norwood).

Had Guarino conducted an extraction he would have found over 32K deleted messages between Birchmore and Farwell in a span of less than 2 years. Guarino just couldn’t “find” them.

Had Guarino extracted and read the messages he would’ve discovered evidence that Farwell raped Birchmore when she was 15, routinely assaulted her as an adult, and had a motive to murder her. Luckily the Feds became involved in the case and were able to read them all. The charging documents are shocking:

Farwell and Birchmore discussed the day that Farwell took her virginity when she was 15 – April 10, 2013.

The rape, which he called the best day of his life, occured one month before he was married.

Birchmore admitted that she was scared to say no to his request not to use condoms.

Farwell clearly got off on the idea of having sex with underage girls. When Birchmore became an adult he was still having sex with her, but asked her to pretend to be a 13 year old and beg him not to rape her. He also asked her to role play incest rape.

Farwell told her that he wished he took her virginity a year prior when she was 14, because 15 year olds aren’t nearly as fun.

“You give me whatever I want.”

“OMG I want this guy.”

“I’ll just take it.”

Farwell viewed Birchmore not as a person, but as something with a pulse who could use to fulfill the sexual desires he was too ashamed to tell his wife he had. He got off on the idea that Birchmore wanted him when she was a child because of his status as a police officer. He viewed her body as his property that he could “take” whenever he felt the urge to. Just like the Catholic priests who raped altar boys, Farwell chose Birchmore because of her troubled home life. He knew better than to target a well adjusted girl from a two parent family. He knew that Birchmore had no parents, was sexually immature, and less likely to report him to authorities. She was the perfect object he could use to get off to.

Farwell is also being indicted for stealing from the taxpayers because he had sex with Birchmore on duty.

To me, these are the least of his crimes.

It’s important to point out that the Feds were able to establish jurisdiction in this case because witness intimidation can be a federal crime. They used the exact same playbook the Norfolk County DA’s Office did with me – they knighted Birchmore as a witness against Farwell and used it as a pretext to launch an investigation into him.

Farwell could’ve tried to end things with Birchmore, but then he would have nothing to get off to. Instead he kept her around for nearly a decade as a side piece he could use for sexual gratification. But the problem for Farwell is that Birchmore viewed their relationship very differently, and was clearly in love with him (or at least what someone as socially immature as her thought was love). When she became an adult she inevitably wanted more from him and had the leverage to get him to give her what she wanted more than anything – a baby. In October of 2020 Birchmore blackmailed him into conceiving a child by telling him that he had to try to impregnate her, and in return she wouldn’t report him for statutory rape.

At this point Farwell was fucked. If he didn’t give into her demands he risked losing his job and family, being labeled as a sexual predator, and going to jail. If he did have a baby with her it would be hard to keep this a secret, no matter what Birchmore promised. But it seemed better than the alternative. If he were smart he would’ve gotten a vasectomy and played dumb when she didn’t get pregnant. But he didn’t. Unfortunately for Birchmore this agreement would inevitably lead to her murder.

The two of them began to have a dispute over the terms of the blackmail pregnancy when they failed to conceive on the first try.

Farwell thought he could control her if he tried to impregnate her and “shot blanks” on the first try, but clearly she wanted to keep trying.

Birchmore continued to offer “compromises” such as getting Farwell to sign the birth certificate and in exchange she wouldn’t badmouth his wife or children.

This was not a deal that was built to last. Farwell thought he could have a baby with her without his family finding out, but he quickly realized that was impossible. It was a poorly thought out plan by both Birchmore and Farwell, and not one that any rational person thought would end well.

A big reason Birchmore wanted to become pregnant was because she found out Farwell’s wife was pregnant and due in early February. Why should she get a baby while Sandra doesn’t? She was sick of being treated as an object Farwell could use to get off on, and she was finally standing up for herself. She realized she had all the leverage and intended to use it. She loved him, and she was no longer willing to be a second class citizen while Farwell’s wife was treated like a queen. Unbeknownst to Farwell, Birchmore was very close to alerting his wife in October after she found out Mrs. Farwell was pregnant with their third child.

After finding out that Farwell was successful in impregnating her on the third try he expressed his displeasure in text. Birchmore made it clear to Farwell that he WOULD be signing the birth certificate, or he wouldn’t be signing his wife’s birth certificate for their daughter.

Farwell was panicking because he realized he was no longer in control. Birchmore presented it as a choice to impregnate her, but he felt forced to do so. For making him feel like that he called her the “worst person on the face of the earth.”

You can hear his frustration when he wrote back to her about how he was bending over backwards for her and felt like he was being blackmailed.

He thought he had the situation under control, and he did for 8 years. But he was quickly losing it. She began to become scared of him after he became physically violent towards her and denied the baby was his.

As the pregnancy progressed into January of 2021 Birchmore continued to offer Farwell compromises designed to keep him in the baby’s life and her life. She realized that he would spend holidays with his wife and children, so she offered him a deal where they would celebrate Christmas and Easter early so that he could watch their love child open presents.

This illustrates just how socially immature Sandra Birchmore was. No rational woman would think this was a plan that was built to last. But Sandra was emotionally stunted due to the fact that she was the victim of statutory rape, and didn’t have the support at home that well-adjusted children did. Farwell was smarter and knew this arrangement would never work out long term. The fun sexual object he used to get off on was no longer fun. He realized he had to eliminate her or his life would be ruined.

The final incident that made Farwell decide that he was going to kill her was when one of Birchmore’s friends tipped off the Stoughton Police about the statutory rape on January 20, 2021. However, instead of reporting Farwell to his superiors the person who took the phone call alerted Farwell instead. This made him upset and he began to rage text Birchmore as he realized his life was about to fall apart.

My question is, why are the feds protecting the identity of the Stoughton Police Department employee who was aware of the statutory rape and tipped Farwell off? Had they done their job Birchmore may well be still be alive today. Perhaps they agreed to a proffer.

This incident was the catalyst for the murder. After that Farwell asked Birchmore for a key to her apartment – something he said he didn’t want months prior. He also began to suspiciously look around her apartment. Birchmore didn’t realize it at the time, but Farwell was likely plotting her murder in front of her.

Just as many of the people who contacted State Police had said, the Feds also discovered that Birchmore was excited about having a baby and didn’t express any thoughts of suicide.

State Police were well aware of the video showing Farwell arriving at Birchmore’s apartment and then leaving 30 minutes later. They spoke with witnesses who told them that it was suspicious that Farwell was wearing a mask because he was a vocal anti-mask guy.

The Feds also used Birchmore’s Apple health data against Farwell. She recorded a black screenshot at 9:18 PM – something you might accidentally do if you were holding your phone and got into a physical struggle. Her phone stops moving right when Farwell leaves the apartment. Birchmore was addicted to her phone, and wouldn’t stop using it at 9:40 unless she was dead.

If the Feds find Apple Health Data reliable then this is great news for those who want justice for John O’Keefe, since his data shows him going up and down stairs inside Brian Albert’s house.

Birchmore had laundry in the wash, which you wouldn’t do if you were about to kill yourself.

The Medical Examiner quickly and wrongly determined that Birchmore committed suicide. An independent pathologist hired by the FBI determined that it was a homicide a few months ago because abrasions on her nose are consistent with suffocation, and her broken chain necklace was consistent with a struggle. As soon as it was ruled a homicide Farwell had to have known that eventually they would get him.

Trooper Proctor’s text messages with Trooper Dicicco show that police regularly manipulate medical examiners to determine a cause of death. ME’s are government employees who will reach whatever conclusion other government employees want them to reach. It’s just a game for crooked cops, which they feel comfortable to openly discuss with other detectives.

The State Police never treated Farwell as a suspect, just as they never treated Brian Albert as a suspect. Their interview with him was not recorded and took place in an elementary school parking lot.

The Feds blame Farwell for lying to State Police, but I blame the State Police themselves. Murderers don’t tell you they committed a murder. The State Police are well aware of this. They knew that they shouldn’t just take Farwell’s word for it, and that he should’ve been properly investigated. The same way they knew that they shouldn’t just take Brian Albert’s word for it that John O’Keefe never went inside the house, and interviewed him inside Jennifer McCabe’s house. This is what they do for other cops – give them special privileges and NEVER treat them as suspects in a murder. Women like Karen Read and Sandra Birchmore are expendable.

Farwell and Birchmore did a lot of rape fantasy stuff too.

Although this is alarming to a lot of people, it’s not a smoking gun. There are a lot of people reading this right now who are into some nasty rape fantasy shit, and probably have some messages in their phone with sexual partners that they wouldn’t want the world to see. The fact of the matter is that some people like to role play. Sandra Birchmore was a willing participant in this form of sex, but she ended up this way BECAUSE of the sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of Farwell when she was 15. It’s further evidence that Farwell viewed her as a sexual object. The problem is when the person you have these fantasies with was a previous rape victim of yours and ends up dead in the exact manner you fantasized about.

Farwell also had memes in his phone that made jokes about sexual assault and necrophilia.

But again, this doesn’t prove anything. It’s just a really bad look for a guy who ended up choking a rape victim to death.

The Feds also discovered suspicious deleted Google searches from Farwell’s phone. He specifically wanted to find out if deleted messages can be discovered in Cellebrite data extractions.

The answer is yes. This is bad news for Jennifer McCabe, because it shows the Feds believe that deleted Google searches that come up in Cellebrite reports are solid evidence that can be used to charge people with murder. Farwell wanted to know the answer to this because he realized they also had Birchmore’s phone, and he had asked her to delete their messages where she gave specific dates proving that he had sex with her when she was 15.

Matthew Farwell is what he is – a murderer and a child rapist. We all agree he’s a bad guy and he will likely spend the rest of his life in jail. But he couldn’t have gotten away with this for so long without the help of other cops. The police who protected him are the same police protecting the McAlberts, and they are just as evil as he is. Nicholas Guarino, John Fanning, Brian Tully, Michael Proctor, David Dicicco, Matthew Dunne, Yuri Bukhenik, and especially Michael Morrissey, are criminals who protect dangerous criminals. They allowed Farwell to roam the streets for 3.5 years, despite the fact that he was a danger to children and the community at large. The Stoughton Police employee who tipped him off was the catalyst for the murder. The medical examiner made sure that Farwell couldn’t be charged with murder. There will be no justice for Sandra Birchmore until ALL of these people are held responsible for what Farwell did to her.

P.S. Fanning and Tully were at court yesterday for Farwell’s arraignment.

But make no mistake about it – they’re nervous. They know that they’re in trouble. Criminals often go back to the scene of the crime and hang out around cops (like Brian Higgins the night they murdered John O’Keefe) to keep an eye on things.
