Canton Coverup Part 455: Former Corrections Officer Caught Trying To Have Sex With 11 Year Old Says He Used To Work With Brian Albert

We’ve documented the fine work of vigilante self-proclaimed “predator poachers” a lot over the last 5 years. These random online dudes catch pedophiles by pretending to be underage children online who agree to meet up with adult men for sex. The Massachusetts Predator Poachers nabbed the Police Chief for the town of Stow in 2020, leading to his resignation and criminal prosecution after his disturbing text messages were revealed. Last month a new predator poacher from Texas named Alex Rosen conducted a bust of a 68 year old man named Rich Busa trying to meet up with an 11 year old for sex. Busa claimed to be a former corrections officer who worked with the Boston Police gang unit, and dropped a very familiar name shortly after getting caught in the act.

“My Sergeant is Brian Albert. Do you know Brian Albert? Brian Albert is the one who was involved in that murder in Canton, with the woman Read. He was my Sergeant. Eddie Hernandez, Michelle Williams…”

In fairness, there is no evidence besides this diddler’s word, that he worked with Brian Albert. He was indeed formerly employed in corrections, making more than $90K a year.

He’s in Revere, which is in Suffolk County with Boston, so it’s possible he worked in a professional capacity with Brian Albert from time to time. But I wouldn’t read too much into his comment that Brian Albert was involved in the murder. It doesn’t mean he knows things we don’t know, it’s just common knowledge that Brian Albert was involved in John O’Keefe’s murder. I’ve seen these guys get arrested before many times with the poachers and there are usually 2 types:

1. Those who flea the scene
2. Those who think they can talk their way out of it

The perps who run know that they’re busted immediately and understand that there’s no way out of it. The perps who stay almost always try to find some way to connect with the poacher on a human level, and Rich Busa did that in many ways with Alex Rosen, including bringing up John O’Keefe’s murder because he knows it’s something that’s been in the news. He was hoping that Rosen had heard of Brian Albert before, and maybe was a FKR person. He was hoping that if he badmouthed Big Bad Brian A to him that they would connect over that and it would be a distraction from the fact that he was there to meet an 11 year old for sex.

The video of the encounter is 2 hours long, and Busa tries every trick in the book to make it seem like he’s not such a bad guy.

First he met up with the decoy who brought him over to what she was pretending was her mother’s apartment building.

She said that her Mom left for work “kind of late” that day, and that she wore a skirt for him. Seconds after that Rosen confronted him.

Busa immediately knew he was in trouble. He knew what he was doing was wrong, and he was worried that it might be a setup. He said as much in the chat logs. If he was innocent he would’ve told Rosen to fuck off. Instead he didn’t ask Rosen any questions about who he was or what he was talking about. He just went for a walk with him and began yapping away.

Busa tried lying his way out of it by claiming that he thought “Arielle” was 18. Because 18 year old girls love to meet up with washed up CO’s at Mom’s house and play bury the broomstick during the middle of the day.

Rich said he’s retired from corrections and is looking to work at Home Depot, or as he referred to it as – the Department of Homeland Security. He said that he has two adult sons and a daughter, including one who is a firefighter in Newton. Indeed, there is a Newton firefighter named Rich Busa Jr. who sued after the Fall River Police in 2013 after they didn’t hire him for lying during a background check about never being arrested. A search showed that he got busted for a DUI after crashing into a tree, and there were skidmarks left all over town showing his path of destruction. Busa Jr. also got in trouble for boarding a school bus to yell at children after the bus driver specifically told him he couldn’t do that.

Busa Sr. said around the 12:00 mark that he was married and that “if my wife ever found out, Oh my God.”

I think she’s gonna find out, Rich.

At the 34:40 mark Rosen brings out the receipts, showing that he asked Arielle how old she was, asked her if she was setting him up, and he told her that she was “pretty sexy for an 11 year old.” Don’t worry though, he had a perfectly reasonable explanation for meeting her:

“I felt bad for her, she never had a father. I have a daughter. I wanted to be a really good friend or a big brother to her.”

Yea, he wanted to be a father figure to her by parallel parking his porker in her tampon tunnel. Ya know, Dad stuff.

The fact that he thought she didn’t have a father figure or big brother in her life is exactly why he targeted her. She was much more likely to be “damaged.”

Rich sent dick pics to her, had videos sent to him of children as young as 8 (not sure how those were sent or if that’s even legal), and told the girl, “Cute panties, I’d like to take them off with my teeth”

He was talking to Rosen so much because he thought that if he showed Rosen that he was a regular, nice, decent guy, that Rosen would have pity for him and let him go. He brought up his 5 grandkids, showed him pictures of them, and said he had “so much to lose.”

He told Rosen he was thinking with the wrong head, and promised that he would never do it again:

“It’s a tough lesson, but I’m telling you, man to man, I’m deleting everything.”

For a guy who worked in law enforcement and knew he was being recorded he probably should’ve realized that the less talking he did the better. But people like this always think they can explain their way out of it. Rosen got him to admit to everything, which police probably couldn’t get him to do because he’d ask to speak with his lawyer first. He didn’t even realize Rosen was setting him up with questions like this:

“You’re not gonna send any more dick pictures to 11 year olds again?”

Rosen was playing him. The correct answer to that for Busa should’ve been, “I don’t know anything about sending dick pictures to an 11 year old girl.” But instead he said he’d absolutely never do it again, thinking that would make him seem decent and Rosen would let him slide.

Some of these predator poachers work with police beforehand, but most don’t because discourage vigilantism. Rosen didn’t call the police, but after 90 minutes of being interrogated someone must’ve called them because they arrived and had no idea what was going on. Rosen showed them all the chat logs showing that Busa was there to meet with an 11 year old girl for sex, and had received videos of children in sexual acts on Telegram.

Usually these guys get a summons if they’re caught like this, but apparently Rosen provided enough evidence to have Busa arrested.

He was charged last month in Chelsea District Court, and released on $2K bail with the condition that he not have any contract with children or the victim (it’s unclear who the victim is, since there was no 11 year old girl, but a woman named Priscilla Gomez is listed), he can’t use social media, and he must surrender his passport.

His lawyer has asked for all of Rosen’s chat logs to be entered into evidence.

And this is the reason the police don’t like when vigilantes do this. If predator poachers do anything that isn’t buy the book a good defense attorney can have it thrown out. But the experienced poachers know this and are familiar with exactly what they can and can’t do. Jay from Mass Predator Poachers has had dozens of perps arrested.
