This morning news broke that Michael Proctor has officially been fired by the Massachusetts State Police.

We knew this was going to happen eventually, but the fact that it happened right before the start of Karen Read’s trial is a huge blessing. How are they going to convict a woman of murder when the lead detective has been fired as a result of his comments and messages involving the Karen Read case? Good luck Spanky!

This was obviously a long time coming, and long overdue. He deserves much worse than this, and it’s a shame that the only thing that got him fired were his unprofessional, disgusting, derogatory text messages. The fact that he lied about his relationship with the McAlberts, lied about what time he towed Karen Read’s car so that he could make it look impossible that he planted tail light, intentionally misspelled the names of 5 witnesses in a single report, asked that a bribe offered to him be given to his wife instead, and manipulated the medical examiner into giving him the cause of death he wanted, should’ve been grounds for firing. But it was mostly the text messages that the feds found. He was ultimately fire for 4 reasons:

  1. The texts about a homicide suspect were inappropriate.
  2. He shared confidential information about a homicide investigation with random friends (Brian Albert won’t catch any shit because he’s Boston Police).
  3. The texts created the appearance of bias towards a homicide suspect.
  4. He drank beers with Kevin Albert while on duty and drove his State Police issued vehicle.

Proctor should be thanking his lucky stars he’s not in jail. If I were him, I’d be spilling the beans on everyone starting now. Why should he be the only one to go down with the ship? His family isn’t gonna be able to put food on the table, but all his corrupt pals at MSP will. Are they gonna keep inviting the Proctors to barbecues? Is he gonna get the invitation to fantasy football next year? Or are they all gonna start doing the slow fade because they don’t no longer work with him and don’t wanna associate with someone who will make them all look bad?

Michael Proctor didn’t frame Karen Read on his own, but he’s going to fall alone. At some point he’s just gonna stop caring and start talking. The only problem is, he can’t ever admit that the investigation was a coverup, so implicating his comrades will be implicating himself for something he has effectively gotten away with.

If I were a member of the Proctor family I would stay far, far away from the media. But because he is surrounded by some of the most tone deaf women walking the face of the earth, the “family” of Michael Proctor released this ridiculous statement instead:

“We are truly disappointed with the trial board’s decision as it lacks precedent, and unfairly exploits and scapegoats one of their own, a trooper with a 12-year unblemished record. Despite the Massachusetts State Police’s dubious and relentless efforts to find more inculpatory evidence against Michael Proctor on his phones, computers and cruiser data, the messages on his personal phone – referring to the person who killed a fellow beloved Boston Police Officer – are all that they found. The messages prove one thing, and that Michael is human – not corrupt, not incompetent in his role as a homicide detective, and certainly not unfit to continue to be a Massachusetts State Trooper.

The text messages prove that he is guilty of violating four State Police standards. Sure, he’s human. But when human beings violate rules at their workplace they get fired for it. Being fired is also a sign that you are human.

It goes without saying that Michael Proctor is corrupt. An honest police officer wouldn’t lie in a police report about towing a car at 5:30, when he knew the car was towed at 4:15. An honest police officer wouldn’t hide the fact that he had been offered a thank you gift by a witness, after failing to interview that witness’ son, who he failed to disclose that he had known for 20 years. An honest police officer would’ve immediately reported this offer of a gift to his superiors, rather than telling the witness to give the bribe to his wife instead.

This is the definition of corruption.

The statement continued:

Proctor and his detectives led a meticulous and thorough investigation of integrity, and despite today’s wrongful termination, and great harm and defamation this case has inflicted on him and his family, Proctor still believes justice will be served.  He is grateful for the unrelenting support of the union and the men and women of the Massachusetts State Police. His heart is always with the family of Officer John O’Keefe who continue to endure a prolonged and unimaginable nightmare.”

A thorough investigation? I interviewed the plow driver before anyone in the State Police did, and I didn’t take an interest in this story until 15 months after John O’Keefe was killed. They might’ve interviewed the plow driver, but Proctor lied in his report when he said that DPW Director Michael Trotta told him that the town didn’t plow Fairview Road, so they didn’t bother. When he found out that a Ford Edge was seen parked next to where John O’Keefe’s body was found 3 hours later, a homicide that they believed was the result of being hit by a car, they did nothing to investigate who the driver of that Ford Edge was. When he towed Karen Read’s car from her Dad’s house he didn’t take a picture of the taillight while it was there. He didn’t interview Brian Albert Jr, Caitlin Albert, Sarah Levinson, Julie Nagel, or Colin Albert, who were all present in Brian Albert’s house in or around the time they believe John O’Keefe was killed.

But yea, besides that the investigation was very thorough.

The Proctor family is right about one thing though – the O’Keefe family has endured a prolonged and unimaginable nightmare. They will never have justice for the loss of their son, largely because of the shoddy investigation done by Michael Proctor. Even those who claim to believe Karen Read is guilty have to concede that fact.

      1. He only has 12 years in, so there wasn’t much because you have to be there 10. Since he was dishonorably discharged, he will only get what he put in

  1. Probably not safe for you to say it. Put another marker in the Turtleboy Graveyard. Not your first trooper, but I bet it feels good. Good job Unc.

  2. Thank fuck. I feel bad for the kids but considering how dumb the mom is and the sister those kids have no hope so hopefully he can get a job as a security guard at the movie theater haha lossaah! Have fun seeking your ugly house proctors

  3. If you list Proctors decisions/Actions during/following the “investigation,” thats grounds for immediate dismissal of the charges.

Aunty Bev and Morrissey need to be investigated.

  4. They did not use alleged while describing who hit officer OKeefe. Stated as fact. Deformation

  5. Good riddance to corrupt trash!! Bye bye Mikey! Time to flip! Your MSP pals aren’t going to help you now! Bwahaha!!

  6. How did he tell the rest of his family, and his kids? Did they find out through the media? People who have so much protection take years before they do stupid things that can easily be found out. What else is there? What happens to Brian Walshe?

  7. He also decided to take the case, even though he was off duty within 15 minutes of the call. He was “so disgusted” that KR killed a fellow officer, he did not even go to 34 Fairview that day! He did not make sure the crime scene was secure. The list of what he did wrong is much longer than as what he did right.

    1. He didn’t decide to take the call. He was the on-call trooper that night and was assigned the case. Being off-duty is irrelevant.

  8. He could have resigned which would have made him eligible to be hired by 100s of Towns in Massachusetts. Being Massachusetts you know he would have been hired.

  9. Who will I be given to now? Bukkaki? Fanning or Meatball & Beverage?

    Sing Chip Sing!

  10. So does this mean his documents are no longer under Federal Seal??? Good Job TB as always, expose all this corruption! Every state needs a TB!

  11. What a fricking joke that it took 3 years for this Typical Corrupt Cop to finally have his actions investigated and Judged. This will be a very big deal in the KR2.0 trial.

    At some point, at least one of Karen Reads Attorneys need to stand up and point directly at the Prosecution Team and shout out;

Why the hell aren’t any of you investigating and prosecuting the To eal Murderers and subsequent coverup?

  12. MSP is finally doing the right thing by shit canning this fool, but what a lame ass summary of charges… Quite frankly, he’s getting off fairly easy IF this ends up being the final/only consequence of his actions.

Can TB or anyone find out if Mr. Proctor was the lead detective investigating the suspicious death of that poor kid Alonzo Polk? (Dedham – 2021) Another mysterious death that occurred on MSP trooper property…

  13. Hi Lizzieeee,

Curious if you’ll jump to Bukakke, to maintain “police wife” status?? I mean, you could jump to a “fellow Boston cop” er, triple A f*ggorts w/ a badge, not the real BPD cops like JO’K. Anyways, hope you & “Chip” have a great rest of your life! Loser(s) / scum!

  14. I wouldn’t be surprised if Auntie Bev accepts the motion to dismiss at this point. The expert witness that will expose the doctored video is enough to expose the extent of the sham let alone the other experts they’ve got lined up. Add Proctor being canned and, oh my.
Pushing the stack of chips to the middled of the table and calling the Commonwealth’s bluff is going to make her think hard on this and may be the reason she’s waited. Let’s also not forget the appeal to the federal court. The deeper this goes the worse she looks. I hope she doesn’t just for the theater but if she dismisses, it all goes away. Another trial puts everyone on record for suits down the road. This time the defense is not taking anything for granted.

  15. 2 Questions :
    -Pension….status?
-Does this now help Brian Walshe go free for allegedly dismembering his own wife? Ugh, hope not.

  16. Poor Lizzie. Hold your head up and stand beside your man! That’s what we’re supposed to do. At least publicly. We know in the privacy of your home that you’re rolling your eyes at the weak, cowardly, weasel who has made your children’s future less secure. Your anger and humiliation are normal reactions, don’t let anyone tell you differently. And these people who are saying that your ‘man’ is a coward for having women speak for him, blah! Some types of ‘men’ just run away, roll up into a ball, and cry, it’s how they’re made. So, we have to speak for them, even if we loathe the thought. We all want a strong, honorable, man to raise a family with. A man with integrity who we can depend on. It’s not your fault he turned out not to be that person.

  17. Willingly I accept. In my opinion, it is an interesting question, I will take part in discussion. Together we can come to a right answer.
