GoFundMe Allows Dasha Kelly’s Fraudulent Fundraiser To Stay Up, Real Mother Issues Tear Jerking Reply Begging People To Stop Donating
I will be discussing this topic, and exposing what Fox News did to this woman tonight on the Live Show at 9 PM. Click here to subscribe to our YouTube channel.
After Fox News stole our story about Dasha Kelly’s GoFundMe scam without attribution it has since been widely written about by conservative media outlets like The Blaze, Breitbart, Daily Mail and others, as I knew it would. This is why it’s so important for the first source to write about it to cite their sources – because the others will see it and won’t know where it came from. It was a great story exposing CNN, which was I researched it, found the girl’s real mother Shadia Hilo and interviewed her on my show. So yea, it stings every time I see someone I follow and respect, like Tim Pool, talking about it on his show without attribution.
It’s not his fault, it’s Fox News’ fault.
But another problem with their reporting is that by not citing me they are not using the most important aspect of the story – my interview with Shadia. They can’t because I own that content. Her testimony is powerful, and if it was widely seen by millions of people it would force GoFundMe to shut it down. Instead GoFundMe is allowing Dasha Kelly to keep it up, as long as she added this to it:
She made all that money by pretending to be a single mother. That’s the only reason people donated to her. If she had told the truth, that she was nothing more than a glorified babysitter with a loser boyfriend and no furniture, no one would’ve given her a dime. CNN never would’ve shared her story either, which was why she intentionally lied to them and mislead everyone who donated. CNN knows it was a lie but has too much pride to retract the story completely. Meanwhile, the fact that GoFundMe is allowing this to stay up is criminal.
“The girls recognize me as a mother figure in their lives.”
No they don’t. Regardless, you explicitly said they were your daughters.
This is fraud.
“My partner is the children’s father whom I do not live with.”
She doesn’t even live with the father, which means the girls have never slept there. It makes sense since there’s no beds. If Dad has his own place then they’d sleep at his house, not his girlfriend’s.
“This detail doesn’t change my original need for donations to avoid eviction, and I will be using the funds to get back on my feet and support my family.”
You don’t have a family, and no one wants to save an able bodied single woman from eviction. Get a job, and stop lying to CNN about being a former card dealer.
“As mentioned in my last update, I will also be putting money aside for the girls in a savings account.”
And we’re supposed to believe you now? Why should you get a dime? Every single penny raised should go to those kids, not part of it. You haven’t done a God damn thing to earn that money.
GoFundMe forced her to offer refunds, but most people who donated will not see this update and still don’t know they were defrauded. So far she’s lost over $20,000, but still has made well over $210K.
And the donos are still coming in.
If Fox News had done their job and shared the mother’s testimony then Ashley Cartwright would not feel that way, and she wouldn’t have donated again.
Meanwhile Shadia Hilo is ignored. Here is a video she posted yesterday that will make your blood boil. It’s hard to watch, and will make you hate GoFundMe, CNN, and Fox News at the same time for what they’ve done to her.
That’s hard to sit through. If donors saw that money they’d take their money back. If CNN’s viewers saw that video they’d realize Dasha Kelly is a monster. If Fox News viewers saw it they’d realize the extent CNN went to to cover up for a single mother of 7 who works two jobs. If Tucker Carlson saw that he might talk about it on his show. But only turtle riders will see this because Tucker’s producer Gregg Re and Fox News reporter Brian Flood intentionally chose not to publish this, because doing so would require them to link and cite TB Daily News.
Let’s listen to her words.
“I don’t care if she’s been involved in my kid’s life for a little bit of time. What she did was wrong and it’s not excusable. For you guys to sit here and support that is wrong too. I’ve been busting, working two jobs, 8 months pregnant, and I’m desperate for money too. Who ain’t? But I would never put up a GoFundMe lying upon kids that aren’t mine. For you guys to keep believing this and for you guys to sit here and keep donating, it’s killing me. She don’t have my kids like that. She never did. I’ve been here for my kids years and years. I’ve been breaking my back for my kids. And for you guys to sit here and go back and forth with this story, it’s crazy. I don’t even have a lawyer.”
You can hear the pain in her voice as she’s crying her way through that video. She had too much pride to start a GoFundMe, and it’s like being stabbed in the heart every time she sees a stranger donate money to this woman who is exploiting her children. If people heard that they’d stop donating. Fox News won’t let them hear it.
The kids were finally returned to her and Dasha Kelly told them they’d be rich soon:
“My kids came back yesterday telling me how all of them is gonna be rich. You think that’s right? You guys are messed up. I feel so alone and messed up because nobody’s here to try to support me, or try to stop the pain. You guys just keep donating and donating. Donate to my kids if that’s the case if you wanna donate to someone. Those are not her kids! My kids never lived there. Never. And just because they went there a couple days out of a few years it doesn’t mean nothing.”
“It’s so messed up that none of y’all wanna help, and you wanna keep donating and donating to this lady and believing her. And I’m over here sitting back and I can’t do nothing. All because you guys are sitting here and posting and posting, and donating and donating. That’s wrong. I’m a single Mom of 7 kids. And so what if I had all these kids? I sure did. And I sure did keep em. But at the end of the day I’m trying to keep em, and I’m trying to raise them, and I’ve been doing it without making a GoFundMe page. Everyone is out of line for believing her and for sitting there donating. She ain’t never had my kids like that. So what, you helped. That’s once in a while. I’m so tired. It’s so wrong. For the real Mom to have to sit back and watch all this.
The “I feel so alone” line stung the most for me. This is not a woman who wants your charity, although she could certainly use it. This is a woman who wants her kids taken care of, but instead is watching another woman use them for profit as powerful institutions like Fox News and CNN collude to make sure that happens. I can’t imagine how helpless she feels, and I’m the only one who is telling her story.
She won’t ask for money, but if you’d like to donate to her Cashapp you can at $B3llaBayB33.
