Shepherd Hill Principal Uses School Twitter Account During School Hours To Promote Graphic Pornographic Book In School Library, Mocks Concerned Parents
This is Shepherd Hill Regional High School Principal Bill Chaplin.
Recently parents in the Dudley-Charlton Regional School District discovered that there were pornographic books in the Shepherd Hill library that children had access to. One of them is called Gender Queer, by Maia Kobabe.
In 2014, Maia Kobabe, who uses e/em/eir pronouns, thought that a comic of reading statistics would be the last autobiographical comic e would ever write. At the time, it was the only thing e felt comfortable with strangers knowing about em. Now, Gender Queer is here. Maia’s intensely cathartic autobiography charts eir journey of self-identity, which includes the mortification and confusion of adolescent crushes, grappling with how to come out to family and society, bonding with friends over erotic gay fanfiction, and facing the trauma of pap smears. Started as a way to explain to eir family what it means to be nonbinary and asexual, Gender Queer is more than a personal story: it is a useful and touching guide on gender identity–what it means and how to think about it–for advocates, friends, and humans everywhere
The public schools are promoting this grammatically incorrect nonsense, while taking points off your children’s grades if they use incorrect spelling or grammar. The book itself is nothing more than pornographic political propaganda. It’s Maia’s life story of being born as a girl, but really wanting to be a boy and have a penis. It’s as graphic and disgusting as you can possibly get, it’s geared towards children, and is promoted in the public schools. Here they are tasting vagina slime.
Here she is telling us about how she never changed her pad during school, because doing so would be admitting that she was in fact female.
She fantasizes about having breast cancer so she can get rid of her boobs.
Imagine being a student whose mother died from breast cancer and seeing your school promote this cartoon that glorifies the worst thing that ever happened to your family? Shepherd Hill is doing that.
It promotes various genres of pornography to kids.
It teaches kids who want to masturbate but don’t have the right genitals to do so how they can properly fantasize about that.
It talks about strap ons, contains sentences like “I can’t wait to have your cock in my my mouth,” and then literally shows cartoon characters giving each other blowjobs.
It’s as graphic as you can possibly get.
And any student at Shepherd Hill can check it out at the library.
There are many books like this available at the school.
Bill Chaplin supports all of this, which is clear from looking at his public, school sanctioned Twitter account. We’ve previously written about Bill when he used his account to smear parents who were concerned about critical race theory as domestic terrorists.
The Dudley-Charlton Regional School District has a strict policy on social media which specifically states that employees like Chaplin must “keep the boundary line between professional life and personal life clearly drawn.”
His Twitter account states that he is the principal of the school, he is followed by students, teachers, and parents, and he occasionally posts school related news on the account. To that end the policy says that professional social media accounts like Bill Chaplin’s must exclusively “communicate with students and their families on matters directly related to education being provided in the district.”
It states that people who read his tweets may assume that he “speaks for the district,” and that “they speak as employees, and not as citizens, and certain restrictions apply to their freedom of expression.”
This policy exists so that staff members can “remain objective with respect to their students,” and “command and receive the respect of students.” If the principal of the school is constantly promoting radical political ideology on his professional social media accounts, he is likely to lose the respect of students who do not agree with him and cannot do his job effectively.
Not that it matters, but Dudley and Charlton are both conservative towns that voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020. Yet Chaplin is openly hostile towards republicans on social media, calling parental involvement in schools “the GOP grievance industrial complex invading the classroom.”
The last thing he wants is parents becoming involved in what their children are learning in school because it would interfere with his political brainwashing.
He mocks anyone who doesn’t want to get the COVID vaccine, and is sick of people using the absurd notion of “personal freedom” as an excuse for not getting vaccinated against their will for something they don’t want or need.
He recently added his gender pronouns, lest we forget that he has a penis and agrees that it should be there, and has explicitly made it clear that he supports books like Gender Queer in his school because “queer kids need queer stories,” which apparently means “graphic cartoon pornography.”
He criticized library censorship of books written by Maia Kobabe, claims that parents’ objections should not restrict other kids from reading the books at school, and championed other districts that defended the book.
He has criticized parents who protest the racist practice of critical race theory in schools, outright stated that the only reason they’re opposing it is because they themselves are racist, and endorses people like Tracy Novick.
He was happy to see Worcester’s Board of Health support their demented and perverted sex ed curriculum.
He refers to parents who don’t want their children to be forced to wear masks in schools as having a “loss of compassion.”
He celebrates ships of war being named after a man who dated, groomed, and trafficked teenage boys.

But it’s OK because when we bomb other countries now it will look like this.

He also does this frequently during school hours. Just today he has liked or retweeted all of these, with time stamps on my phone to indicate what time I saw them.
He frequently tweets out his political opinions from his office during school hours when he could be observing teachers, interacting with students, or any of the other duties of being a high school principal.
It’s also unclear who runs the official Shepherd Hill Rams Twitter account, but they too are constantly tweeting politically charged things that would make a significant portion of the students and parents uncomfortable.
If a teacher were tweeting the things that Bill Chaplin was, especially during school hours when they are being paid to work, they’d be suspended and/or fired by now. When I taught at Shepherd Hill (Chaplin was not there at the time) I was suspended for 5 days without pay for writing a blog that criticized a 300 pound tackle on the Miami Dolphins who said he was being bullied by a teammate, because a student could read that and not feel comfortable around me. Yet Bill Chaplin is constantly taking shots at parents and students who have different political opinions than him. He’s also openly promoting and cheering on pornographic children’s books in the school library because it fits his warped political ideology. He should be reprimanded immediately, unless the social media policy only applies to teachers.
