Jussie Smollett Proves Once And For All That White Privilege Is A Myth

So yesterday in a surprising, yet unsurprising turn of events, Jussie Smollett had all his 16 felony charges dropped against him for perpetrating the most egregious and well documented fake hate crime in modern memory.

Their reasoning? He volunteered for Jesse Jackson’s non-profit twice and surrendered his $10,000 bail.

Innocent people don’t surrender their bail. This was essentially a rich person bribing his way (for a fraction of what it costs to get your rich daughter into USC) out of a serious crime and hiding behind the mask of social justice. Here’s some quick thoughts:

  • This forever proves that white privilege is not a thing that exists. If it were real, imagine what Jussie Smollett would’ve gotten if he were white. He likely would’ve been given a key to the city, 40 acres, and a mule. Rich privilege exists (just ask OJ), white privilege is a myth. Anyone perpetuating is should be mocked and laughed at.
  • This forever proves that the system is not rigged against black people, or that we over incarcerate people of color. The system is rigged against poor people, but rich people like Jussie Smollett, who have connections directly to Kamala Harris and Michelle Obama, can get away with anything.

  • Filing a false police report can no longer be a crime. What’s the point? This is the most obviously false police report in the history of mankind, and he was never charged for it.
  • His lawyers readily admit that the Nigerian brothers did this. This would mean that his two friends randomly were out at 2 AM during a polar vortex while wearing MAGA hats and carrying a noose, they yelled “this is MAGA country” and Jussie not only didn’t recognize them, but mistook them for white men.
  • The media is framing this as “conservatives get mad about Jussie Smollett.” Wrong. Mayor Rahm Emmanuel is a liberal and he’s furious, as are many other liberals. Any liberal who’s excusing this with whataboutism (i.e. “what about cops shooting unarmed black kids”) is part of the problem.

  • The District Attorney’s office chose to drop the charges, even though they admitted that they think he’s guilty. Their reasoning is that this hardly ever results in jail time. But who cares? He should have a felony conviction on his record and it should stay with him for the rest of his life. What he did was pure evil, and the message being sent here is that he is either innocent or that money can buy your way out of anything.
  • DA Kim Foxx recused herself from this case because she knows the Smollett family, but her underling is the one tho made the decision to drop the charges. Obviously no one would cross their boss, and she without a doubt approved of this.
  • According to the acting DA they dropped the charges largely because he has no record. That’s just a bold faced lie. Jussie Smollett has a previous conviction for DUI and a history of lying to the police.
  • This should be investigated by the feds, especially since it involved mail.
  • Jussie Smollett had the nerve to go on camera and lie some more at a press conference yesterday, and it makes me want to puke.

  • Jussie probably isn’t even going to lose his gig on Empire, as they believe he has been exonerated by a district attorney’s office that admits they think he is guilty. Jussie got away with this crime BECAUSE of his skin color and sexual orientation. A straight white male would be permanently destroyed if they lied about a group of black men attacking them while yelling, “Obama forever.”

  • CNN, which “investigated” the Russian hoax for 2.5 years, all of sudden says that they’re not in the investigating game, and that we will “never know what really happened” that night. Except we all know what happened – Jussie Smollett paid two Nigerian guys to pretend to lynch him.

  • CNN blue checkmark Hillary Rosen sets the ratio olympics record by going on record to say that Jussie Smollett is the victim here, and demands he be reimbursed for having his life ruined.

  • Uncle Turtleboy accurately predicted on the live show several times that Jussie Smollett would never spend another night in jail.
