The fallout from disgraced State Trooper Michael Proctor’s text messages continued this week as Jennifer McCabe’s lawyer Kevin Reddington filed a motion for an unrelated murder defendant named Ingolf Tuerk, who wants cell phone records for Proctor, Lt. John Fanning, Sgt. Bukkake, and Troopers Jeff Kotkowski and David DiCicco.

Dr. Ingolf “Harry” Teurk was a prominent doctor who lived with his wife Kathleen McLean in Dover.

He was featured on billboards for his groundbreaking work in robotic surgery. He claims to be a former Olympic athlete from East Germany, drives a Harley, and was featured in this infomercial about the work he did at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Brighton.

However, he was also a scammer who was fired in 2019 after settling with the AG’s office and agreeing to pay a $150,000 fine for medicare fraud.

He had a history of abuse with his third wife Kathleen, who moved into his Dover house with her 3 kids to live with his 2 kids from a previous marriage. She had him arrested for strangling her and got an order on him in early 2020. However, she attempted to reconcile with him and asked a Dedham judge to vacate the order, which he did. On May 14, 2020 he killed her after returning home while the teenage children were there. He texted a friend and said, “She is a vindictive devil, she played us all.”

The next day police found Tuerk and McLean’s car parked at a hotel in Dedham. Inside his hotel room they found him bleeding from self inflicted wounds and he was immediately hospitalized and arrested. He confessed to strangling her and putting her body in a marsh located in the woods near her house after she allegedly threw a glass at him. He’s been an inmate at the same jail I was in ever since. Boston Magazine wrote a really good story on it in November of 2020.

Proctor, Fanning, Bukkake, DiCicco, and Kostkowski were all involved in the investigation, and all of them were on the receiving end of Proctor’s inappropriate text messages revealed in the federal investigation which were then read out loud in court.

Texts with Dicicco

  • “Rookie move not going to ME and getting that homicide determination” – Dicicco
  • Dicicco and Proctor tease each other over who is better at getting the medical examiner to rule a death a homicide
  • “Of course it was undetermined, she was a whack job” – Proctor

Texts with Dicicco and Gostkowski

  • “If you like women who shit themselves” – Proctor
  • “Regrettable comment made about Ms. Read’s medical condition” – Proctor
  • “She’s gross” – Proctor in response to Read’s allegations against Alberts while being arrested
  • “Fuck her, bitch” – Trooper Diccico in response to Read’s allegations against Alberts while being arrested

Texts with Moore, Gostkowski, Fanning, Dicicco, Bukhenik

  • “Going through his retarded client’s phone, no nudes so far, I hate that man, I truly hate him” – Proctor
  • Bukkake liked Proctor’s text about “retarded client’ phone”

But the crazy part about this is that Reddington is praising the federal investigation into Proctor, which also investigated his client Jennifer McCabe, while crapping on the State Police’s investigation into the death of John O’Keefe, which also benefitted his client:

“They give me a notice and they say, ‘Look, you got a lousy investigation, you got misrepresentations, you got totally inappropriate references to the defendant who’s being investigated,” Reddington said told NBC10 Boston.

Reddington said Proctor played a major role gathering evidence in the Dover investigation, which is why he’s requesting police officers’ text messages and emails. He also noted that “nobody would’ve known about this issue” if not for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Massachusetts conducting a rare probe into how the Read case was handled.

Newsflash – it was a “lousy investigation” because Michael Proctor never properly investigated Jennifer McCabe or any of the McAlberts. Had they done a real investigation she would be in jail, alongside several other McAlberts. She owes the Proctors her life, which is why she was at their house on September 25.

Now her lawyer is taking a steamy dump on them.

Then again, Reddington also told me that he believes I proved Karen Read’s innocence through my journalism, despite the fact that my journalism is the reason I’m being charged with intimidating his client, and despite the fact that if Karen Read is innocent it means that his client is guilty.

Reddington gets paid to give each individual client the best representation they can get. But because he represents so many high profile defendants it was only a matter of time until something like this happened. As a defense attorney he’s used to battling police and protecting criminal defendants. Except Jennifer McCabe is in the rare position of not being a defendant in anything, yet still seeking out a high profile criminal defense attorney, as have several other McAlberts. Innocent people generally don’t hire Kevin Reddington, which tells us everything we need to know about Jennifer McCabe.
