Kevin Albert’s Internal Affairs investigation was made public yesterday, and it was revealed that he had to perform 3 days of slave labor before being full reinstated to a Detective Sergeant in the Canton Police Department. Albert, the younger brother of Brian and Chris Albert, was suspended with pay for 3 months after it was revealed in court on June 12 that he had texted Michael Proctor and told him that he forgot his gun and badge in Proctor’s car while the two corrupt cops were working on a cold case in Cape Cod.

The IA investigation was conducted by Lt. Paul Gallagher – the genius who the jury believed was so dumb and blind that he didn’t see 45 pieces of red tail light while searching Brian Albert’s lawn with a leaf blower at 7 AM on January 29, 2022.

Gallagher testified that he didn’t search Brian Albert’s house after finding a lightly dressed dead cop with only one shoe on in a blizzard, because there was no probable cause to do so. He came to this conclusion without asking a judge or magistrate, because he is a legal expert who knows more about probable cause than anyone.

Not surprisingly the same commanding officer who chose NOT to search Brian Albert’s house, helping protect the people who murdered the dead cop on Albert’s front lawn, would now be the one “impartial” investigator deciding the fate of Brian Albert’s brother, who Gallagher has worked with for two decades.

According to the IA investigation Kevin Albert and Michael Proctor were sent to Cape Cod on July 20 to look into a cold case involving an unnamed victim. They interviewed an unnamed person in Sandwich, then decided to go out for beers at the Tree House Brewing Company, where they spent $34 for 4 drinks (2 each) and then bought $70 worth of beer to go. After that they drove to Hanover where Albert had two more drinks at Flanders Field.

Albert left his badge and gun in Proctor’s work vehicle because they were “cumbersome.” He claims that the text message about leaving the gun in Proctor’s car the next day was just a joke. He had three more drinks when he got home.

Just two grown ass men, whose families don’t know each other, pounding beers and making jokes about leaving guns and badges in cop cars. Standard Tuesday in Canton.
Albert was also investigated for overtime fraud due to a text message in which he said he was “soaking up the overtime” while eating and drinking on the way back from his grueling one hour trip to Sandwich. But just like the gun text message, this was also a “tongue in cheek joke.”

According to Gallagher’s report, Kevin Albert DID forget his badge in Proctor’s car, but DIDN’T forget the 20 beers he bought at the brewery.

However, Gallagher concluded that Kevin Albert has such a high tolerance that he can consume two beers and two alcoholic drinks in an hour or so timespan and not be intoxicated, therefore he didn’t violate the department’s policy on being intoxicated while armed. Gallagher also determined that when Albert texted Proctor and told him he was hungover, what he really meant was that he was fatigued from the long day of drinking together on the south shore.

Gallagher goes way back with Kevin Albert, so he knows from experience that Albert has a “high tolerance for alcohol” and would only have a slight buzz at best after consuming four drinks.

Karen Read was also seen on video buying four drinks, and Canton Police reached the conclusion that this made her blackout drunk and single handedly caused the cessation of the laws of physics on Fairview Road that fateful night.
And since Kevin Albert claims he left his gun in Proctor’s locked gloved compartment, he didn’t violate the policy on carrying and securing firearms.

Kevin Albert is the same guy who intervened on Brian Albert’s behalf by texting Brian Higgins and asking him why he wasn’t returning Brian Albert’s phone calls in June of 2023. He told Higgins that everyone was worried because, “you went off the grid and Brian doesn’t understand, everyone got a subpoena but you.” Kevin Albert also spoke with Higgins days before Higgins testified in front of the federal grand jury. Luckily Paul Gallagher didn’t investigate any of that. He just wanted to see how many beers Kevin Albert consumed before leaving his gun and badge in Michael Proctor’s work vehicle.
The Canton Police Department doesn’t care about how corrupt they appear to the public because they know that the Board of Selectmen will protect them. If this is what Kevin Albert can get away with publicly, think about what Brian Albert could get away with inside his own house.
