McAlbert enforcer Jill Daniels was arraigned last month in Falmouth District Court for the July incident first reported on TB Daily News, in which she assaulted the manager of Shipwrecked Bar and Grille during an alcohol-fueled incident. She was charged with assault and battery on a person 60 or older, as well as disorderly conduct. A stay away order was put in place, preventing her from stepping foot inside the restaurant.

Ms. Daniels is also out on personal recognizance after being charged in October with assaulting an award winning journalist shortly after he consumed a meal of food at C.F. McCarthy’s.
Ms. Daniels has been very vocal about her feelings regarding the Karen Read case, accusing Ms. Read of drinking too much and hurting someone. However, it appears as if she drank significantly more alcohol that night than Karen Read did on the night Daniels’ family murdered John O’Keefe. Bar receipts show that they spent close to $250 on alcohol in a short period of time, including 8 blueberry lemonade drinks, 2 Captain Morgans, and several beers they used to wash down the romantic meal of food, consisting of chicken fingers and nachos, that Daniels and her elderly boyfriend Nick Marathas pounded down.

The police report and witness statements show that Ms. Daniels and her elderly boyfriend were noticed by several patrons due to her prior criminal behavior being highlighted on TB Daily News. Instead of ignoring the people who recognized her Ms. Daniels and her elderly boyfriend began shouting and pushing in front of small children, leading to them being removed from the bar. As they were being escorted out by the manager, who is over 60 years old, she pushed the manager in the back, called her a “cunt and an “old hag,” and accused her of “being for Karen Read.”

It’s unclear why the DA in Barnstable County didn’t file a motion to revoke her bail, due to this second violent incident that resulted in criminal charges against Ms. Daniels. But clearly she, like all of the McAlberts, likes to drink a lot and believes that she is entitled to physically assault people when she gets upset with them. For years they were protected by law enforcement, but now we are shining the light on their criminal behavior and we are finally starting to see some level of accountability.
