Canton Coverup Part 545: Released Side Bars Show Judge Cannone Allowed Karl Dugal And Jennifer McCabe’s Relatives To Remain In Courtroom Despite History Of Intimidation Against Karen Read

 

According to newly released side bars in Karen Read’s second murder trial, David Yannetti approached Judge Cannone on April 30, 2025, after returning from the lunch break. Jennifer McCabe was about to continue cross examination, and I was in the main courtroom having a motion to have my bail revoked. Before the break Paul O’Keefe had been sitting in the front row, staring down Read with his crotch open for the world to see, as he always did. However, a juror had complained about O’Keefe looking at her in a sexual manner that made her feel uncomfortable, and Cannone told him he had to sit in the second row for the remainder of the trial. However, this meant that the people who were previously sitting in the back had to move the front.

The two people in front are Denise Galvin, the sister of Jennifer McCabe, and her husband Bob Galvin.

At the 5:18:15 mark of the live stream Cannone lied to the jury and told them the delay was caused by blowing a fuse, when in reality they were playing musical chairs with Paul O’Keefe.

The people who moved to the front where Paul was previoulsy sitting were Denise and Bob Galvin. I first wrote about them in September of 2023, when Read, Alan Jackson, Liza Little, and 2 producers from 20/20 who were following them around Canton, were confronted and threatened outside of CF McCarthy’s by D&E Pizza employee Jim Farris, and the Galvins. This picture of Rad, Little, and one of the producers (who was on the witness list for both trials) was taken from inside D&E Pizza.

The 20/20 producers were with a crew that was filming Attorney Jackson as he went inside CF McCarthy’s, the bar next door to D&E Pizza. They were recreating Karen Read’s night on the evening that John O’Keefe was murdered, and when Chris Albert saw them he began making phone calls to get people down there to intimidate Read and her attorneys.

Within less than a minute a heavyset man smoking a cigarette came out of D&E Pizza, where he paced outside menacingly. That man turned out to be delivery driver Jim Farris, who was charged with assaulting me outside of CF McCarthy’s on June 23, 2024.

Bob and Denise Galvin live less than a mile from CF McCarthy’s and immediately responded to Chris Albert’s cry for help in intimidating Read and her defense team.

Witnesses from inside CF McCarthy’s tell us that when Bob and Denise arrived the heavyset man pointed out where Jackson was, and they went inside the bar and cornered him and the young female reporter he was there with, as he attempted to speak with a manager. Jackson did not say anything back to them. The Galvins became so disruptive and combative that Jackson was forced to walk outside the bar to speak with the manager.

Soon after that Denise Galvin reportedly yelled at Jackson, “Get out of MY TOWN!! Go back to Hollywood!!”

Finally the group was able to cross Washington Street and get into the vehicle with Read, but they were followed by Chris Albert, the 2 D&E employees, and the Galvins. Denise and Bob Galvin screamed at Karen Read and asked her “how do you sleep at night?” Even though her sister is the one who for some reason didn’t fall asleep on the morning of January 29, 2022 and was wide awake at 4:53 AM despite drinking all night.

This was a clear act of witness intimidation since Read and her attorneys all fall under the umbrella of witnesses in the witness intimidation statute.

Denise Galvin was with Kerry Roberts and Jennifer McCabe when they put their timeline together, days after John O’Keefe was murdered. She has played a very active part in helping coverup what happened to John, and silencing anyone who speaks out about what her family has done. On top of writing countless letters and emails to the DA’s Office, demanding that certain people be arrested for their coverage of the case. Denise Galvin has also harassed a teacher in Weymouth, who grew up with John O’Keefe in Braintree, because the teacher is an outspoken supporter of Karen Read.

Prior to that in November of 2023, Denise Galvin gave a speech at the Board of Selectmen meeting in which she ironically whined about being threatened and intimidated, while chastising anyone who believes that Karen Read was framed as condoning abuse and harassment.

“If you support and fuel this grand conspiracy that includes attacks on police and the select board, then you condone the abuse and harassment of everyone involved.”

Seeing as the Galvins had previously attempted to intimidate Read and Jackson, Attorney Yannetti approached Cannone on April 30, 2025 after the lunch break, and told her his concerns about the fact that the Galvins had moved to the front row, and were feet from Read staring at her.

Yannetti also pointed out that Boston Police Detective Karl Dugal was also in the front row, just feet from the defense table, and that he had been banned from the first trial for assaulting Read in the courthouse hallway.

You would think that Judge Cannone would be concerned about this, since she banned this award winning journalist from the courtroom during both trials, whenever Jennifer McCabe, Matt McCabe, or any of the other allegedly intimidated witnesses were giving testimony.

However, days later Cannone revised her ruling, allowing me to be present for Yuri Bukhenik and Michael Proctor’s testimony, since they are police officers and my presence would not create a “chilling effect” on the witnesses.

Since Judge Cannone was so worried about the “chilling effect”, she must’ve banned Dugal and the Galvins from the courtroom after Yannetti brought this to her attention, right?

LOL. Of course not.

Instead Cannone asked Yannetti if Alan Jackson was physically afraid of Denise Galvin, likely in an attempt to humiliate him on the record by forcing him to say he is scared of a woman. When Jackson said that he wasn’t Cannone ruled that it was an open courtroom and that everyone was safe inside it due to the presence of court officers.

1. Cannone didn’t ask Brian, Chris, or Colin Albert if they were physically afraid of me, prior to banning me from the courtroom. They likely would’ve been too embarrassed to say yes on the record.
2. If the standard for intimidation is that you have to constantly be in fear of physical harm then I never would’ve been charged with witness intimidation, since not a single witness has ever alleged that they fear physical harm from me.
3. If the courtroom was safe due to the presence of court officers, then Jennifer McCabe and other witnesses would’ve been physically safe if I was in the courtroom.
4. If Cannone was worried about a “chilling effect” in her courtroom, then she wouldn’t allow a man who assaulted Read at the last trial to sit feet away from her, and she wouldn’t allow two people who threatened Alan Jackson to sit within feet of him while he cross examined their family member.

From the beginning the McAlberts have been given special treatment by the police, the DA’s Office, and Judge Cannone. This has allowed them to literally get away with murder by cosplaying as “victims” and “witnesses,” when in reality they are nothing but bullies and thugs who aren’t used to people standing up to them. And when I did, they arrested me, indicted me, and put me in jail for 60 days. But the truth will all come out, and I will never stop exposing this corrupt system no matter what they try to do to me.
